"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
Sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. And Happy Thanksgiving.
Sorry I didn't call this week, so very busy. I find I have more time to chat on IM's then on the phone right now. Maybe next week. :)

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I just wanted to let you know that we are doing SO MUCH better. We have finally got it together. I think I may have figure out part of the problem other then having to detox from TV, which id DONE!!! She is one of those children that needs her sleep if not it makes it hard for her to handle her emotions. Any way we started to let her read until she fell asleep, I all of a sudden realized that some nights that was a lot of reading, so I told her that we had to start using the timer and that she got 10 minutes, and then the light would be turned off. It took a few nights but it is working great and so then school is going great and the TV isn't ruling our lives any more, and I don't feel so alone.....
Thanks for reaching out.
