This year Spring Break (which is two weeks long) seems soooooooo early even for our Canadian Schedule. For some reason Canadian's Spring Break period is 2-3 weeks before our neighbors down south. I look outside it for sure doesn't feel or look like Spring. If you want to see go HERE. Well I guess I better get working.
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
Good luck, Mary! That's a realistic and yet impressive list of things to get done. I really need to list what I want to get accomplished this week; I'm just working on getting my daily goals written down. I think my binder is too big for day-to-day practical use, darn it. I'm going to have to figure something else out. I'm wrapping my laundry up for the day, and heading into the kitchen. I'm going to prep dinner and throw it in the fridge, and then de-clutter/clean/organize/inventory my pantry. I'm actually looking forward to that, because when my pantry is operating at peak efficiency, so am I! =o) The boys are out in the sunshine right now doing their PE: they're cleaning our vehichle - inside and out! All right- back to work. My reward will be to visit you again when I'm done with the pantry!! ((HUGS)) Good luck to us both!
Wow your break is early for being so far north. The college spring break is now. Reg school break is the first or second week of April. And we only get one week! But I do have some plans for that week. Praying the weather will be nice so I can spend most of that time outside in the garden.I hope you are sucessful with your list! HUGS
I agree it doesn't seem like Spring now. I guess I'm taking a forced Spring break of my own right now though. Well, and we did have some sun today which was love-el-ly.
