It's that time again....
.
I wanted to show you all what we did last Sunday after church. We went to a May festival near by and they had hosted some logger sports. It was a lot of fun to see. My hubby and 3ds saw the whole show but my 4ds got too antsie(sp ? ) to see it all so we went to the play park.( plus I went to look at the vender booths) But we did get to see quite a bit. But sadly I did miss my 2ds getting a chance to be involved in the show.
.
I just had to show how pretty the mountains where on the trip there.

.
Here is the Logger Sports arena.

.
Here are some competing ( they were competing against another team ) with the double handle saw. They had to saw through the log the fastest.

.
Same idea but with a chain saw

.
This gal was competing against another gal to run across the log and put a choaker around a BIG log and then run back across the log (over the water) first.

.
Here is Handsome tring to to sooth a squirmy boy.

.

But he was only able to pacify him for a bit so I took him and distracted him back at the booths and playground while the others watched the show.
.
.

"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
