From the Heart:
The last couple of weeks I had been talking about wanting to get into a good rhythm. Then I started to ask myself what am I craving ? I started to ask myself what is the type of rhythm of life does God want for me ? Well, then I asked myself what is a rhythum ?
.
Rhythm (from Greek ῥυθμüς – rhythmos, "any measured flow or movement, symmetry") is the variation of the length and accentuation of a series of (sounds or other) events.
.
I was thinking of things I do and what I want to eventurally become good habits and a good rhythm. I was wanting it all to happen without too much thought and just flow. I wanted it all to happen naturally. Well, that doesn't really totally happen when you have a life that you are wanting to have a purpose. (meaning it just doesn't just happens on its own and by osmosis) You have to make a schedule, a plan, and make goals to work towards. That doesn't even include all the problem solving you need to do as a mom. Life has somethings that happen each day on its own but a lot of it doesn't.
.
One habit that I need to help make a good rhthmic sturcture in my life is start it with the Lord in the begining of the day. ( I know many who have this down but some of us need to make a consious effort to keep it happening) I need to make sure I do not to do anything else till I given the day over to the Lord. All else will and can wait.

On the Homefront:
.
The guys who came last week to clear the path for our new water line came and did a amazing job ! Right up to the border where we have to wait till all the paperwork is done. ( we could have had it all done last week but we cannot move on till we have all the legal stuff finished) I am being reminded in so many different ways in my life that God is in control and His timing is the right timing. I sure wished I knew what was going on that only God seems to know. We are still waiting for our friendly neighbor to sign the papers. Please keep us in your prayers for all this to be finished.

In The Garden:
.
We planted a lot of different kinds of summer and winter squash and they are sprouting on the plant table. We are getting the tomato plants and brasicas adjusted to being outside. And prepping the ground , raised beds, and green house to plant them in.
.
In the School Room:
We did our basics on top of all the activies with the water system business.
.
Bible:
We are almost done with reading and discussing "Created For Work" by Bob Shultz .
.
I NEED to get organized and going on "Christian Manhood" by Gary Maldaner bible study with the boys asap because I will need to start that in about a week. I have been really feeling the need to really focus in what does it mean for my boys to be godly men. So I plan to blog about how that is going. I have been finding a lot of trafic to my blog of others searching how to raise godly boys and children.

.
In The Craft Corner:
.
I am going to have to block out a time or this won't happen, lol. There ALWAYS seem to be something I need to do. I want to get it so that all the cooking from scratch (that I do to be frugal) will be done in the day so at night I can do some crafting. My future craft table is still full of school books. It will happen hopefully sooner than later. [0; I have put my knitting bag so it is hanging on my dinning room chair so I will see it and hopefully sit down and take some time for me.
.
In the Kitchen:
.
I was successful with making yogart that wasn't runny and my alfalfa sprouts did very well. I will be sharing about that on Tightwad Tuesday this coming week.

.
Weightloss Wednesday:
.
I am getting healthier and forming good habits but the weight holds on. Still working out good portion size and self control. I am hoping to start implementing the Weight Watchers point system and convert the recipes from the New Weight Watchers Cookbook I got for 35 cents. Everything takes time and I don't seem to have tons of it. So one step at a time.
.
The House That God Built Update:
As I said before we worked a lot on the clearning for the water line. But also we picked up what we needed to put in the sofits on the house. What this means then ...is after the sofits are in then we can get the final coat of stucco and siding on the house .
.
Mother Culture:( for definition go HERE )
.
I have been very blessed in a way I didn't really think of. My 1ds has really wanted to watch Saving Sarah Cain, Fireproof, Love Comes Softly , and Amazing Grace with me and the whole family. We don't watch a lot of tv or movies so when we do it is a treat. I love how my son is caring for things that are good, holy, and pure. It makes my heart feel very warm and good when this happens. I knew these were GOOD movies but truely they are GREAT movies. If you haven' seen them please make sure you do take the time. For Fireproof make sure you watch it with your spouse. I would say I have a pretty good marriage but I believe it will even get better. I really want to take the Love Dare if you do after you have seen the movie go HERE .

I am still reading "Created to Be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl and Holy War by John Bunyan . So I am momentarily putting on hold re-reading " A Charlotte Mason Compainion" by Karen Andreola.
There is the reflections and ramblings for this week.
.
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
