May. 28, 2009~ No Show and Tell Fridays till .... ~
I wanted to let you all know and sorry that there will be no Show and Tell Fridays
till Mister Linky is up and running again. To read the latest on what is up... go HERE. I am not sure how long it will take for Mister Linky will usable again.
.
I wanted to say thank you all for being apart of Show and Tell Fridays for the last couple of years. It has been amazing and FUN ! I have met so many neat people and the community that has come from this meme is VERY dear to me. If you all could let me know if this meme is something that is dear to you too please let me know. With the low attendence I didn't know if that ment people are just very busy right now or not intested any more. I am a willing servent to keeping this meme going if there are those who are out there who would like me too. Thank you for all you gals have shared and gave to eachother ( and to me) all these Fridays.
.
I wanted to leave you on a cheerful note and share a music video my 1ds put together to the song " God of Wonders" a couple of years ago.
.
Blessings and ((HUGS))

"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
but I don't want you to feel trapped into it. I only post S and Ts when I feel like they are worthy of a post. I was going to do one tomorrow, but I'll just put it into my weekly wrapup since you won't be doing it.
Sorry I didn't get to call yesterday. My friend stayed till dinner and then I had several long phone calls from out of town family. (We are having a family crisis right now, unfortunately, so things have been a little crazy for the past two weeks).
I have to run out and do the monthly shop this morning, but would love to call this afternoon.
Can't wait to catch up with you!
I LOVE S and T!!!! Just taking a break for a season as I am outside the home so much right now and have limited time on the computer. I do plan to get memes done in advance and be back to S and T, TWT, WLW and T T B I Y, by end of the Wedding in July....hopefully sooner! We can no longer download photos by removing the stick from the camera ( something broke) hubby has to download. So I often do not have the photos ready to go with the memes. Working on that problem!
I am currently working on ramping up my time with the Lord...getting all the zones in the house organized, purdging, resetting prioritys. With school almost done I have a lot to rethink for the fall...both boys gone...( insert tears). As my son said this morning as I whinned about not getting a goodbye hug" Mom I am getting married in a month, are you gonna call me every night?' Sigh....
I want to spend many hours over the summer preparing for school. I really want this upcoming year to have more quality to it. I am feeling the my kids are all older squeeze..have I done enough ect...I get like this every spring.
Then there is the I need to spend more time as a wife ....This proverbs 31 thing is so hard!
Alright enough going on and on...HUGS
YES, keep S&T, Mary!!! I so enjoy it. It doesn't matter if the attendance is lower. That makes it easier for me to visit all the blogs. It's cozier! You've been so faithful. I would totally understand if you wanted to take a break though. (((hugs)))
Jenn
Oh, no! I will miss S&T so much if it is completely discontinued! I was just stopping by to post my link for today :o(
Well, Mary, you decide whether to keep it going or not - if Mr. Linky cooperates. In the mean time - I hope to keep visiting the 'linkers' I have seen here!
BTW - come see the pictures I was going to show and tell about!
Hi Mary,
I love Show and Tell. Plus, I actually have a cool post about my kids and their volunteer work that I posted today.
I understand if it's too much work, but I do enjoy it. With the lower attendance it has been easier for me to visit the blogs. : )
If you have a chance, stop by my blog and see the post.
Hugs,
Pam
Hi, Mary...I'll join the ranks of those who really would like to see it stay. I've gotten to know some wonderful bloggy folks by following the links, too. Once June is over (hosting big groups every weekend and helping with a wedding plus putting on a missions event June 14th), I'm setting a blogging schedule for myself, so I'm going to be a "regular" finally! I'll keep checking in to see what you decide, and may God Bless you my friend!
Love in Christ,
Lori
