From the Heart:
.
Ohhh what a busy week we have had and this coming week is the same ! It is seed and planting and transplant planting time. I can really see why in the old days they would close the one school room schools at this time. I have pretty much done the same lol. There is still tons of learning going on but we just do what we can. There is reading and math going on and tons of nature study when we are working in the garden. I shared a big part of my heart yesterday on Show and Tell Friday if you want a peek into my heart this week.
.
There is one thing that I have to share and praise the Lord for this week. I have wanted to boys more involved in the garden and it has been speratic over the years and something we have had to ease them into. This week has been such a blessing in this department. The older boys have really stepped up to bat for us. We are having to week and clear cutch grass in lots of places where we are making first time raised beds and reclaiming other rasied beds. There is tons of stuff to wheelbarrel to the future spots where we will make squash beds. ( will go more into that in the future ...probably a Tightwad Tuesday ) Soooo I want to say thank you boys ! ((HUGS))

Well my sewing table is put on the back burner for now. But I have a knitting basket on my table with a pair of socks I am knitting. So that way if I have a moment ( which is few are far between ) I can knit a not have to think about what I am doing. I call these my no brainer projects. I NEED these kind of projects when life is very full. It is art theraphy for me in these times.
.
Here is my knitting on the go bag and my knitting basket ready for when ever I do have a moment to knit.

The Well Watered Garden ...A Gardener's Guide to Spirituality by Harriet Crosby.
I am still reading "Created to Be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl and Holy War by John Bunyan . So I am momentarily putting on hold re-reading " A Charlotte Mason Compainion" by Karen Andreola.
.
There is the reflections and ramblings for this week.
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
