Aug. 4, 2009~ The House That God Built ~ Water Easement Update ~
Today's result of our water easement hearing came out okay. Not the worst case senerio but not as well as we had hoped. Things are delayed one more step.
.
We happened to get the judge that heard our case the last two hearings and he was the judge for todays. The judge tends to try to help out our neighbor as much as he can for some reason. Our lawyer noticed this too. ( intresting) He has given our neighbor one last chance to get legal advice and was said to submit a good reason why he cannot sign the water easement. We used the common form of water easement that has been used for over 100 years. The judge tried to point out that we are only asking for a easement for the water and to be able to maintain the water and nothing else. So unless he can come up with a good reason why he cannot sign this then it will be pushed through as the end of the month. This is the quick and easy summery of the court hearing today. We asked the judge if our neighbor could pay the court costs but the judge said we would have to pay our own expenses. ( which shows how he favored or friendly neighbor again. hmmmmm) But life goes on. Once again I am praying that our neighbor will just go in and sign the papers or that he won't show submit any good reason why he can't sign the papers. ( I really cannot think of any good one. We accepted his offer for the water easement...duhhhh. Okay I am done letting out my frustration) I will keep telling myself the truth...God is in control and it will all work out for the good who follow Him. (Romans 8:28 )
Thank you soooooooooooo much for all the prayers. I am sad to ask but please for any who are willing please pray a little longer.

"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
I had to break my no morning computer rule for you, Mary! (grins) I am sorry things were delayed again. I will keep praying. Thanks for the update.

God is in control. Praying with you!
The things of this world are so confusing. It sure does sound as if the judge has a soft spot for your neighbor. Water is necessary!!! I know here in the US an easment would have to be granted or land bought.
Proverbs 20:22
Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.
The gals seem to be feeling better. This is a mean virus. Naomi had all the symptoms. Em not so much.
Sure put a clincher on our plans for the week. I am cleaning every day so that is a plus. Josh was not allowed to go to work. He is not sick...people just over react. Kinda makes you think of the early days of flu outbreaks when all were made to stay home.
I have got most of my yard back in order. So much rain has brought on tons of weeds and fast growing vines.
HUGS Have a blessed day!!!!! Psalm 37:4,7
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass ... Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him
Sweet Mary count me in for your prayer team. I will continue to cover the situation in prayer.
Be blessed,
Chasity
With all the trouble, God must be cooking up something supernatural!!!
Thank you my faithful friends. I love you dearly and your prayers and encouragment is worth more than you will EVER know. Even though we have never met face to face I feel you are some of the dearest friends I could ever have.
Hello!! I'm back, just in time for an update on the water situation. I'm sorry that it wasn't better news, but I know you are still trusting Jesus through it.
Now to catch up on all the happenings in your world!
Dear Mary,
Count me in for praying with you about this situation. You are correct, God has this one firmly in His hand. He has a purpose for this delay...stand strong with Him, thank Him for whatever He is doing during this time of delay, and, with your children, wait in expectation and give Him the glory when you realize the good that has come from this! Waiting is the worst...I'm not very good at it, so I feel for you. But I will pray for you all!
Blessings,
Lori
I am thankful to read that you may finally have water easement problems worked out. Mercy! Why can't your neighbor just sign the paper??? He must be a grouchy old soul. I need to pray for him. Anyway, I will pray for you all (even the judge).
Blessing, Karen
