Aug. 17, 2009~ Taking a Blog Posting Break ~
I am talking a Tightwad Tuesday and Friday Show and Tell break.
.
I am going to take a break from posting Tightwad Tuesdays and Show and Tell Friday this week. ( it might even be the following week too. I don't know yet) Now, I might surprise you and post a Weekly Wrap Up each week to keep you up to date on how much I am getting done. [0; I have so much to do, so much on my brain, and I need to focus on getting ready for school starting in two weeks.
.
I will still be visiting while I am taking breaks from cleaning, canning, and what ever is on the list for the day. Please leave me a note saying you were here and I will try to stop by.
Scroll down if you want to see what is on the agenda for our 2009/10 curriculum plans. ( I am really looking forward to this year)
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
I love your new picture up top. (if it's not new, forgive me, I haven't been by in awhile). Things are going pretty good. I am using my new blog at www.mlpinky.blogspot.com if you want to drop by.
Oh, Mary, I *LOVE* that CM quote you added to the bottom of your post! I'm going to copy that down and place it in a prominent spot just for me. I am taking these next two weeks to declutter and ready our home (per my email), but also to reset my mindset regarding our schooling. I'm gleaning soooo much from my time spent with A Charlotte Mason Companion, and think perhaps I should always have that book on a constant read to help me keep my focus.
All right dear, thank you for the inspiration, and enjoy your next two weeks of bloggy vacation. I throw a post up now and again, but mostly I'm just happy to be back visiting with everyone. The posts will come fast and furious again, but not quite yet.
I've been so busy going back to lessons that I've had little time to post or visit blogs. There are just seasons like that. I hope you get a lot done on your mini-break!
Jenn
No worries, Mary.....we are all busy, especially right now as our learning years begin. Come and visit when you can. Glad you were able to get the discount for the notebooking pages still.

I already posted my tip last night since I have to work today. I'm always trying to think ahead and do things that will make it easier in the morning when I'm trying to get ready for work.
when you get back to blogland! Meanwhile, since I went "away" for a bit, I finally made myself a decent schedule, and now I'm back on bloggy-track...so my posts are up!
