Aug. 25, 2009~ Tuesday Eve Update on Philip ~
I had a light bulb moment. I didn't understand till tonight that there is no more thought of cancer for Philip. PTL !
.
It has been confirmed that it is a virus but we don't know for sure yet if it is mono. I am one happy mama now. (((HAPPY DANCE)))
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
Mary, that's terrific news! Things like Epstein Barr Virus can cause junk like this...nasty little things, viruses. I will continue to pray that his body will strengthen, and will overcome the virus, and that there will be no more ill-effects from it. God Bless you all!
Love in Christ,
Lori @ Plans4You
Praising God with you that it's not cancer. I pray that the drs. will have wisdom in finding out exactly what it is and be able to help him quickly. Philip is still in the hospital - right? Have you been able to talk to him much? Blessings to you and yours ((hugs))
I got your note on my blog and came over to see that Phillip was having quite a battle. I'm so glad to hear that it's not cancer. I'm doing the happy dance with you. We got moved, but we still don't have internet. I'll write more to you when we get our own internet. I'm on my neighbor's computer.
Thanks for letting me know, and I'll be praying for Phillip.
