Aug. 28, 2009~ I Am Glad ~ Taking Time For Thanksgiving ~

My friend Jenn had a wonderful post and I want to jump in join her. She wrote how she was inspired about in writing down what she was glad for in her life. Are we not to count our many blessings and name them one by one ? [0= So this week has been one of those times that I have realised all that I am thankful for. Here is a starting of my list.
I am glad......
that my oldest is cancer free and is on the road to healing.
that I have a loving God who showed me where he was amongst all the concern and how He had a hand in it all and was in control. (((Thank you God)))
that Handsome and Philip will be home on Wednesday.
that my other boys are healthy and happy.
that Philip and our family was surrounded in a HUGE amount of prayer this week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ((HUGS))
that I had a wonderful beach near by to distract the boys and I from all that was going on.
for the financial gifts and meals that God put on peoples hearts.
for all the encouraging calls, emails, ecards, and visits this last week.
that there is a van transporting Handsome and Philip home on Wednesday. ( at no cost, it is a donation from the Shiners for families who have very sick children)
That it has been a wonderful week of really nice weather to let us go to the beach and do fun things to get our minds occupied.
God gave us very GOOD fresh veggies from the garden.
that the three younger boys and I get to go picking crabapples to make crabapple jelly this week end.
this list will pop up once and a while and I will give thanks to my Lord for all He has given.
one more for today.......... I am thankful for for all my family ,friends, and my sweet online SS'sIC. You all mean the world to me !!! Love you !!

a wife to my Handsome of 19 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 17, 15, 11, and 9. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links on The House That God Built and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
