Well, ladies, I am honored to say that I have been nominated 2x for this. I'm a little embarrassed to say that the first time I tried to ignore it! Sorry, Diane! Then today I got another comment that the sweet and wonderful writer, Bo at the Lilliepad, had nominated me! Wow! What an honor, ladies! Most of all, I am thankful that by sharing my experiences and what God is teaching me, I can be an encouragement to those around me. That is my hope and prayer for this blog!

So, now it is up to me to nominate 5 other bloggers that I love! I am going to TRY and limit this to  5 ladies whose blogs are an encouragement to me. These ladies have all helped me out in some way, shape or form. Either with homeschooling questions, questions about the Lord, encouragement, or just making me laugh. 

My first Rockin Girl Blogger award goes to Jen Unsell!  If you are a homeschooling mom, and especially is you use Five in a Row, you simply MUST check out Jen's blog! And remember to look at their FIAR archives...I have gotten SO many wonderful ideas for Jen. Her love for her family and her excitement for homeschooling has rubbed off on me. I feel blessed to have gotten to know her from the FIAR boards.

Secondly, I want to nominate Leslie! What a special momma this is! I have gotten to know Leslie through the Five in a Row message boards as well, and have grown to love her family since Eliana's amazing birth and "story" from the past few months. Leslie has such faith and inspires me to TRUST the Lord by sharing her struggles with us on the boards and on her blog. If you haven't read about little Eliana and her precious family, take some time to do so! You will be blessed!

My next favorite blogger is Heather! Heather may not appreciate me saying this, but I consider Heather to be one of those "kindred hearts" that you run into in this life from time to time, although not too often I may add! I also "met" Heather on the FIAR boards and soon came to LOVE visiting her blog! Oh, and while you are visiting Heather, check out her homeschooling blog and her homemaking blog! If you've never quilted before (like me) she just might inspire you to start! But my favorite quality of Heather is her sharing of her faith - and all those REAL questions we have but don't want to say outloud! -- on her blog. She and I have some similar thoughts and I have really enjoyed reading her thoughts and words...she says those things much better than I, and I have learned a lot from her opening up herself to us. Thanks, Heather!

This gal has been nominated several times, but if I'm listing my favorites, I must add her! My friend, Nikki, at Kindred Hearts.  Yet another FIAR mom, this special lady has a way with words! If you are needing some encouragement, you should check out her blog. I still remember her posts from the past that have made me tear up...have made me thankful...have caused me to ponder...Thank you, Nikki, for sharing your wisdom and encouragement for all of us to read. You are a blessing!

And, to the one who most recently nominated me...Bo at the Lillie Pad! Going to Bo's blog is like picking up a devotion book from your nightstand...or a favorite magazine that you just love to get in the mail! Seriously, because this lady is a WRITER...that makes her blog so much more enjoyable to read. I also first got to know Bo from the FIAR boards...and have come to appreciate her candor, her honesty in her struggles and her "way with words" as she shares about various things on her blog. I enjoy visiting Bo's blog because I always come away either encouraged or challenged. And both of those are good things!! Thanks, Bo, for sharing yourself with us!
