Music to my ears...

Posted in Parenting

"Mommy, can I stay up for 5 more minutes?"

Not so she could play, not just to drag out bedtime...

But so she could READ! I love it! You all know how much I love reading, so to see Hannah beginning to enjoy it so much just makes my heart so happy! Nana let her borrow a Clifford book and she wanted to stay up longer to read more of it! How could I say no to that?

I couldn't turn down a request like that either.

Oh how neat. She is so much like her mommy! I love hearing her read. Good job Hannah! I am so proud of you. I wrote her a note during church today. I am pretty sure she could read it, and she looked up at me and smiled! Oh what a joy she is.

What a treasure. God is so good to us to let us experience our children in such beautiful ways.
