Thumbprint Fall Leaves

Posted in Autumn

(Autumn unit)

Here are a few pictures of our painting fun today! First, we painted brown tree trunks - I helped with Caleb's and the girls did theirs on their own! Then we used our thumbs to paint colorful leaves all over the page! I think they turned out really well!

Fun Painting!

Then I gave them another piece of paper and we used watercolors this time. All I said was, "fill up your page with autumn colors." Hannah took my words seriously and worked for quite awhile on this masterpiece! I love it!

I thin we will try that!

Can't believe you let them paint right on top of your beautiful dining room table! Very brave :)

Oct. 4, 2007 - Young artists!

Posted by Nana

Oh wow - you really have some young artists. The great thing is that they love painting. I am so impressed that Caleb would make a tree that looked just as good as the girls. Did he have any help? That is very meticulous (sp?) for a 2 year old. Very time consuming and great attention span for a boy and for that age! I'm so impressed!!
