"What is that smell!?!" my husband asked.
"What smell?"
"It smells like something dead on the porch?"
"Really?" I asked while headed to the porch.
After looking around for a few minutes, I triumphantly returned.
"It's our science project!" I proudly announced.
"What is it?"
"Well, it's old hamburger and flies. It's our 'Life Cycle of a Housefly'
experiment!"
No words...only shocked staring.
This is a true story. I mean what better way to teach science, right?
Right now we have a wooly caterpillar in a jar on the counter.
And one crawling around the house...umm, somewhere.
The kids love it! As mom/teacher, I love it!
My husband, on the other hand, well, I told him that he should
write a book entitled,
"The Adventures of Being Married to a Homeschooling Mom".
