Warning!! This Post is About Christmas!

I love Christmas time!  I believe that one of the best things that we can do for our children is to make memories.  I want my kids to look back on their childhoods and smile.

Well, Christmas doesn't just happen around here.  It takes a lot of work on momma's part!  (Do I hear any AMENS???)

With that said, have you started your holiday dinner box?

I have a box in the pantry that says, "Holiday dinners: Stay out!"

Planning out great memories for Christmas takes a some organization and planning ahead!

Pick up a couple of cans of corn or some canned pumpkin this week.  Actually, make a list of the non-perishable food items that you will need in order to have the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners that you desire.  Keep that list in your purse and each week grab something off from it.

Hey, let's make some great memories this holiday season!

I just bought two cans of canned organic pumpkin pie filling from Trader Joe's this week.
I love your idea. Next visit....cranberries!
And by the way, Merry Christmas in October!

What a great idea. I always am rushing out the week of and ending up very broke b/c I've waited to get all the food at the last minute. Great tip, thanks!

I love making Christmas Memories too. I've never thought about buying ahead for the food...that's smart. I have lots of lists for Christmas...Gift lists, decoration lists, baking lists, craft lists, activity lists. You're idea could work for many of those! Thanks!

AMEN!!!

I actually struggle though the holidays every year, and so last year I tried to make it better for my hubby and I with THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS (check out the SHMILY time blog to see more on that). This year I'm trying to get my home organized as well! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
