We are on a six weeks on one week off schedule this year.

I really love this schedule.

Out of our 16 years of homeschooling, this will be our 2nd time using it.

We couldn't use it a lot of times simply because we needed to use our vacation time as maternity leave for the teacher.

Well, anyway, we don't seem to need maternity leave this year, so we opted for this schedule.

We just completed our first six weeks yesterday.

Vacation has begun.  Or, so called vacation!

My goals for this "vacation" are to get all of the laundry caught up, plus prepare for the next six weeks of school. I also need to make sure that the house is put back into order before the chaos, I mean school begins again. 

I am excited about this school year. 

My kids tell me that I say that every year.
