If anyone reads this and can comment, I'd be very appreciative!
I just renewed my application for membership with the Homeschool Legal Defense Association, with my son getting ready to home school again. The last time we had him home and were HSLDA members, we were using Bob Jones and later Switched on Schoolhouse. In re-reading their terms, I noticed a line about using "organized" curriculum - can't remember the exact wording but it gave me pause. We're going to be doing unit studies because that's what works best and we love the freedom to explore our interests. A lot of the studies I have found in downloadable format (to be used in notebooking/lapbooking), but I'm wondering, if questioned, would that constitute "organized" curriculum?? We're far from un-schoolers, but neither do we use traditional text- and work-book stuff (at least on a regular basis).
