Well, it's that time of year for me....time to figure out what we'll be using next year.  It's a bigger job this year as I've had two of my kids "in" school this year and next fall I will have all three at home.  Help me!! lol!!

Anyway, I've already got our main unit, the Konos "Obedience" study.  I'm not going to buy too much for the youngest, who will be starting Kindergarten.  I've already got a ton of little work books and fun stuff for him just waiting to be used.  I've decided on Math-U-See for all of them, and will order that over the summer.  My biggest quandary is with phonics/spelling, for the 7 and 10 year old.  Money is a huge factor - I love BJU and even A Beka, but they are just TOO expensive!!  I looked at Rod and Staff, which seems very cost effective, but I balked at the fact that they claim to use the KJV exclusively in their lessons.  Not!  So, I continue the pursuit.  I do need something structured; I don't work well without it!
