Dear Husband went to the bank today for a roll of these:

It sure looks to me like G. Washington was grumpy when he sat for the portrait. Must be those nasty dentures.

I think we'll have fun trying to spend them since no one has seen them yet. They have a kind of arcade token look to them.

Oh, and Dear Husband tells me these snazzy words stamped around the edge are called "incused." There is your free vocabulary lesson for the day.

He really WAS miserable with his teeth. we got a book on him called "George Washington's Teeth" and those horrid dentures would spring his mouth open..had to clamp to keep them shut (well..something like that anyway). I felt so sorry for him after reading it. Check it out at the library!
