Anyone who's done much math knows that division by zero is a big no-no. In fact, Miss Language has decreed that it is the Unforgivable Sin of Mathematics. But to Miss Dance, in Algebra 1, this concept is not yet automatic.
So, today, she fell for it. She was defending an answer that left the denominator as *gasp* Zero . I reminded her that division by zero is a big no-no. She continued to defend the answer.

Always trying to help out with an example, I said, "So what if I gave you a bowl of jelly beans and told you to divide them between zero people? You couldn't do it, could you?"
Her reply? "I'd give them to Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty has no mouth to eat them with... that would work."

I think it just might. I think math as we know it has just ceased to exist.
