Today is Christmas in July at our house. We will be baking cookies, carolling to shut-ins, having a red-and-green dinner, and watching a Christmas movie, probably The Bishop's Wife. And we are (somewhat) decorated ~ centerpiece on the table, wooden light-up tree in the kitchen, small tree in the living room for all to decorate throughout the day as they see fit, and huge fake poinsettia in the schoolroom. Of course the Christmas CDs are playing. And I get to wear the snowman shirt I made a few years ago that is far too lightweight to wear anytime around real Christmas here (the what-was-I-thinking project).
Even the weather is cooperating. Here we are in the middle of the Dog Days of Summer but yesterday a cold front blew through so that if these are Dog Days they must be Siberian Huskies.
Merry Christmas, Blog Friends! Remember God's coming to tabernacle with us!
You crack me up! What a fun idea!
I laughed at most of the other entries I was catching up on, but esp. the toothbrush one. So sad when the honeymoon is over. :-)
