Saturday, August 9, 2008 - Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Fans of Melrose will be gratified to hear he was allowed to accompany us to the ballgame this past week.
Unfortunately, the concession does not sell bananas. Even sadder, Melrose's team lost. But we did see either 3 or 4 bats break, a home run, and a few great plays.
Hey, how do you like that? I double posted Melrose so it looks like he has a twin. Deja and Vu. And, having just seen Matrix with Miss Language, I know that Deja Vu can mean big trouble.
Matrix, by the way, is a movie that has set my mind to wondering, for example: how does it fit in to the Matrix kind of plot when people play on their wiis (hope that is the right plural) for exercise? Seems they are voluntarily going in to a matrix.
Sounds like it was a good excursion - even if they didn't have bananas. I remember being at the fair (?) and getting a frozen banana on a stick. Covered in chocolate. Good times.
RYC: Would life be easier if we could all walk up to someone and say such things - and click - no relational work. I would like to find out if the adults who created facebook are on the spectrum.

Hey! We just bought the Matrix! My mom's never seen it, so we can't wait to watch it. I myself have seen it multiple times, most recently at Worldview Academy when we were watching clips from various movies and discussing the philosophy/worldview behind each movie. (And of course, whenever you talk about philosophy/worldview in movies, you simply HAVE to have the Matrix in there. ;) )
Geez.... the last time I saw a baseball game was when I was 8 or 9. :P I've been to a couple church softball games since then though. We just had one last Sunday, in fact. (I didn't play, due to my sprained wrist.)
