• Nov. 7, 2006 - We gave the kitten away!!!!

We finally gave away the kitten. I was kind of sad but pretty glad that we were finally able to find a home for her. The people who got her seemed nice and were glad to have a new kitten.

We had our bookclub today and our new book is a New England girls journal from 1830-1832. It looks like a good book. Our last book was Triss, a Redwall book, by Brian Jaques. It was a really good book and everybody liked it exept one girl who said that it didn't really hold her attention. If you haven't read any of the Redwall books you should.

I know you are glad to give the kitten to nice people, but I also know you are sad to not have a kitten around any more. But, since your momma cat hasn't been fixed, there are always new kittens to look forward to! *grin* We are really enjoying Shadows. I think Zeke likes him too. What Zeke doesn't realize is that Zeke is finished growing, but Shadows isn't. Zeke may be very surprised one day when he's letting Shadows bite all over his face. One day it may hurt!
