I had some people tell me they wished that I would write more than just about kittens so I'm going to write about the choir I'm in.
It all started at church camp last summer. It was the last day and people were going home.I was waiting for my mom to get there and in the last service they said that at 1:00 P.M. that afternoon we could audition for the Mississippi All State Youth Choir.
It cost twenty dollars and auditioning didn't mean you were in it. I told my mom about it when she got there and she asked me if I would like to audition and I said "Yes I'd love to audition." So I auditioned and about two months later I got a pamplet, letter,cd,and a form that said I was accepted in the choir and that I had to fill out the form and send it to them with $30.00. My parents and I talked about it for about a week then my parents said I could go. I filled out the form and sent it in with the thirty dollars. My first meeting of the Choir was in Oct. it was a S.O.S. social (which means a Start Of the Season social.) I have been to two practices and one performance. I'm having a lot of fun and even though I'm the youngest one in the choir (I'm twelve and the others are mostly between 15-20) I still know some of the girls from camp that are 14. I'm hoping to have a couple more practices and performances before it's over. And that is the choir story!!!
I hope you like what I wrote. I have a few more stories like that so maybe in a few days I'll write another one. Well I got to go for now, Amber |
