15 For Tuesday...

Posted in 15 For Today

I got to thinking it had been a couple of days since I posted my 15 minute goal for the day.  It was never my intention to post something every day, as our lives are never the same from day-to-day, and you just have to enjoy the day you're given, but it is my intention to hit at least 4 days out of 7, and since I don't generally think I'll be doing them on the weekends, I'd better get typing, lol!

All this to say, here's my 15 For Today:  Being that today's Tuesday, and thus library and lessons day, I'm going to spend 15 minutes during one of the boys' lessons to make a list of all the things my husband needs to take with him when he goes out of town next week.  This is Mo Chroi's first out-of-town trip without us (since we left the Army), and his first for this company.  There are many things I don't want to forget to purchase, and he's going to be taking a cooler with him so I need a grocery list as well.

What will you be doing today for 15 minutes?  Let us know!!

Nov. 22, 2006 - I love the "15 min challenge"

Posted by buffalorock

It's just what I need for those things that need done behind the scenes. My dh is a great motivator at getting done the main areas but I tend to focus on the little underneath things. Therefore, I tend to get frustrated that I cant get in those little pockets cuz I gottta get that other thing that he keeps seeing. What a great idea. I will start next week. With the holidays, and company, not to mention that my dh partner had an accident so dh is picking up his slack....we're just treading water this week.

I started thinking about my quiet place, too.....Our's is the living room at a special time. We try to get up early to have a cup of coffee before all the little feet start moving, and mine is before that. And when we don't do that we notice. I've always longed to have a love seat in my bedroom, but that would mean an addition...or a new office elsewhere for dh.
Practicing His Presence....
