Show and Tell Friday...

Posted in Show and Tell Friday

It's that time again, for Show and Tell Friday with Canadagirl.  If you would like to participate, please go visit our lovely hostess Mary for more information.

Today I'm going to share with you all the fruits of my labor that you all suffered through with me these last couple of months.  The books I ordered for next school are all (mostly) here, and now this is what I face:

It's a bit daunting, but I'm so eager to have some uninterrupted time with which to study each book and create a lesson plan for next year.  I'm such a geek, but I love planning out the next year!!  I don't think I've ever been this prepared (see this post), and it's so peaceful!  I intend to have the whole year planned out before our back-to-school start date in August.  I hope to get quite a bit done next week while the boys are away.

Thanks for visiting me today, and have a wonderful weekend with your families!  Tonight Piper graduates from 8th grade, and tomorrow afternoon we drop the boys off with my parents for the week.  Today is a day of laundry, cleaning, packing, and preparing for the graduation.  My wonderful husband went into work at 4.30 a.m. this morning so that he could be home in time to head downtown with us (one car family).  My cup runneth over, and I hope yours do too.

That is an impressive pile of books. I have used some of those myself. I am also the geeky person who enjoys writing out curriculum. I went to a curriculum fair this morning and plan to start lesson plans this afternoon. : )
Have a wonderful weekend!

I love this time of year when you get all your homeschooling books in one place and pour over them! How fun! It looks like you'll be doing some American History and lots of other cool stuff. Have fun making your curriculum for the year! I stress at that thought - that is why I go with preplanned curriculi that I can just tweak to meet our needs!

Nice to meet you.
