Don't Call Me Peanut - Bayside

Epic win title for a song. =D Okay, so I was gone for 9 days in Miami. Unfortunately, since I waited so long to blog again, I forgot a fair amount of what happened. *cheesy grin* I'll attempt to possibly do my best at recalling. And I will be speaking in present tense for each of the days. Don't get confused. Or bored. kthx.

Saturday, 6-21-08; Day 1: Soooo yeah I had to wake up around 6 AM today, cause we were supposed to leave from Church around 6:45. HOWEVER, we didn't actually leave until 7:30 or so. xD Odull (nickname for one of our leaders, 23 years old) wasn't awake at the original starting point. It was kind of funny in a weird way. We kept calling him, but he didn't answer. So finally someone drove to his house and brought him. He's a hilarious guy =P Here's a video of him snoring. He's really cool and funny. We all agreed he should be a stand-up comedian during the trip. Anyway, we left around 7:45 or around that time. Odull slept all morning in the van. Also, it is impossible to describe the epicness of the van ride down in words or facial expressions, which I am not able to give to you. But it was awesome. We were in a 15 passenger van and a 7 passenger minivan (Toyota Sienna). I was in the 15 passenger van, the seat behind the driver, which is always my seat on youth trips. At around lunch or so, we were all wide awake and restless (except for Odull ^^,). So we started writing messages on pieces of paper and sticking them against the windows of the van. It was hilarious xD I don't remember why it was so funny, it just was. =P And we had cell phones, which would've worked just as well. But who wants to use cell phones when you have good old pencil, paper, and moving cars on a 4 lane highway? Seriously, dodging in and out of traffic to communicate to the other van is just way to cool to pass up (It rocks having a 21 year old youth pastor =P). Anyway, Florida had HUGE thunderstorms. I has pics of the weather. Pic 1; Pic 2. Yeah, it rained hard. Now, let me note one thing. I'll be naming random people that you've never heard of before, but they're all in my youth group. =P Anyway, in Florida, we stopped at a gas station. Mark got a 32 OUNCE MONSTER CAN. Monster is energizing enough in small cans (or so I have been told), and this one had 2500 mg of caffeine in it. IT EVEN HAD A WARNING LABEL ON IT: "Limit one can per day. Not recommended for pregnant women, or people sensitive to caffeine." He said he drank half the can in 5 minutes, then immediately had to go to the bathroom, so he stopped drinking it so fast. =P So the trip down was epic. We finally got to the place where we were staying (Pastor's house in Little Haiti in Miami) at around 8 PM or so.We were all so tired when we got there from being in the car all day. Then we got to read the little pamphlets for VBS. Each one had an animal, and we were supposed to associate virtues with the animals. i.e., courage, kindness, etc. One was lemmings. omg xD that was EPIC. First sentence in the pamphlet: "Lemmings are plump little animals closely related to the mouse." We all died of laughter. There were only like 5 of us reading them, but it was hilarious. And then it talked about lemmings having "voracious" appetites. Then it showed a picture of a lemming with his teeth bared standing next to a caribou. Or something. And it had the most obvious question ever. "Where are lemmings most likely to drown?" I'll let you figure that out =D Also, we got really confused. "The lemmings will fight each other on land, and will gradually move to water, where both usually drown....... HOW DOES THAT REPRESENT KINDNESS? O_O" Yeeaah, that lesson was hard. Also, since we were telling these to little kids, it was a little difficult to find better words for "die" and "death." YOU CAN'T TELL A LITTLE SIX YEAR OLD KID THAT A LEMMING KILLS ANOTHER LEMMING. Well you could. But it wouldn't end well. OKAYDAYTWONAObai

Sunday, 6-22-08; Day 2: We went to a Church called El Shaddai in Little Haiti. We didn't get much out of it xD It was all in Chreol. Or however you spell it. It's a combination of Spanish and French. Afterwards, we went to the beach =D Except a storm was moving in. whee another pic. But the water there O_O homg. IT WAS CLEAR. It wasn't green or anything like that. You could actually see the bottom. And it was cool too, the beach was almost level, then about 10 feet from the sea it makes a sharp drop (about a 55οΏ½ angle or maybe 60οΏ½) And then another 10 feet and the sea is level with your chest. BUT it stayed that way for hundreds of feet. It was spiffy. =D But then we had to flee from the oncoming storm. Aaaaand not much happened for the rest of that day.

Monday, 6-23-08; Day 3: TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF VBS. It was pretty cool. This was my first time coming to Little Haiti. Basically, it was a bunch of little kids ranging from around 3 to about 11. I don't remember much of what happened that day. But we basically just played with the kids a lot. They wanted piggy back rides and stuff like that. After VBS, we worked. We mostly painted walls inside today. Wow this was a short description. =P

Tuesday, 6-24-08; Day 4: We had VBS again today, BUT we put up a Tire Swing. Heres a picture of Cole tying the rope for it up on a tree. Odell was in charge of pushing the kids on it. He got SO SWEATY. Here's a pic of him pushing: Click. But that occupied most of the kids' attention spans. So the rest of us had to do hardly anything. xD There was actually a fair number of kids who weren't on the tire swing. They wanted piggy back rides, and to play frisbee, basketball, etc. I think today was the day we had a kickball game. Our team lost. =P WE COULD NOT SEEM TO GRASP THE CONCEPT OF ALWAYS THROWING THE BALL TO FIRST. And then when we did that our first baseman never caught it, so it usually ended up in a point for the other team. heh. Our work for that day was the same as yesterday, painting the room, etc. Pretty much the same all week. Lol And that night, Josh, Stephen (not shadeslayer), Haley, Beckah and I all stayed up till like two. =P They were all hyper on sweet tea, I was just there for the socialness.

Wednesday, 6-25-08; Day 5: SAME THING HAPPENED WITH VBS I shall not go into it again. But we took the day off from working. We went to Key Largo (YES THE KEY WEST AREA =D) and went Snorkeling. Note: Snorkeling is not as much fun if you're not doing it right like I was for the first hour. I 1) didn't inflate my lifejacket to keep me afloat, 2) the snorkel didn't stay in my house because of my overbite, 3) I kept blowing through my nose to exhale air, and that cause my goggles to fog up, and 4) I lacked the leg strength to use my flippers for very long. And I was also scared to death of getting near the coral. =D It was better in the last 15 minutes though, when I actually swam over the coral, which didn't kill me (surprisingly). But it was really cool. ^_^

Thursday, 6-26-08; Day 6: Same thing happened with VBS lol. I think I finally cracked today because I was feeling very impatient. =P But I managed to avoid that around the kids. Same thing with work, nothing special happened at all.

Friday, 6-27-08; Day 7: Taylor got beat up by the kids today. *evil giggle* Yeah, I got a video of it. =P And he was getting tired of giving the kids Piggy back rides. This was the last day of VBS/work. I was going to miss all the kids in a weird way. lol We finished up with our work and everything, and went back to the house. Oh, I have to mention one thing: All the meals I was fed in that house WERE AMAZING. :d Yum. So yeah, that about wraps Day 7 up.

Saturday, 6-28-08; Day 8: Today we drove to our old pastor's house in Brandon, Florida. we got there after having a pretty fun ride... sort of. I learned that being in the Sienna was miserable. I had no legroom at all. But I eventually got the middle seat. ^_^ moar legroom yay. And then when we got there, we all were epicly amused by their cat. Really fluffy and playful... I think. But it was declawed so that was good. They also had a bird that I really liked. And they had GH3. Which was great. Cause then I could show our youth group that my playing guitar hero actually took skill, and wasn't some stupid game. =P Through the Fire and Flames was a good song to show them that on. *happy* Then we played Ultimate Frisbee, and then we swam in their pool.

Sunday, 6-29-08; Day 9: Today we went to their Church, and afterwards they had a lunch there. Then we drove straight from there to back home. Along the way, 2 cars in front of us, the car slowly drifted onto the side, hit the median, over corrected, and did several barrel rolls. What I saw of it was when our driver suddenly braked, I looked up, see the car flying. It was... uh.. sorta freaky. But the amazing thing was that all the people inside got out. And our driver was a nurse. And they wereN'T* injured, which was spiffy. =D So now I can say the wreck was cool. I just hope they had insurance on their car. It was a brand new 2008 car. And then we narrowly avoided two other wrecks, which was good. So yes, it was "eventful."

So now I'm back... lonely... I miss seeing everyone in our youth group every morning. :( And now I leave again tomorrow. Sooooooooo yeeaah. I actually have a busy summer this year... wheeeeeeee. So yeah. That's about it.

[Edit] If anyone posts "tl;dr" or something like that on this, I shall disapprove of your choice to not read it greatly. =P

*Yeeaaaaah, made a bad typo there xD

" 'Cause I hate the ocean, theme parks and airplanes,
Talking with strangers, waiting in line.
I'm through with these pills that make me sit still.
Are you feeling fine?
Yes, I feel just fine."

Everything is Alright - Motion City Soundtrack

Well, it's about time I blog again. Considering that I've been back from my trip for over a week. Heh. =D I just don't usually have time to post. Either that or I don't think of it. So, not much has been happening recently. My computer had some little virus thingie, but I think it deleted it. =D I love macs. If it didn't delete it, then it quarantined it well enough. I haven't experienced any problems recently. Which is good. Except my keyboard's "o" key broke, so I had to replace it. So, anyway, here's what happened on the Beach Trip.

Feb 15th: I got up to the church around 12:40 PM. We were supposed to leave at 1:00. However, after getting everyone's stuff in, it was around 1:30. We left then. The trip down was pretty uneventful, but it wasn't boring. When you're in a van with 15+ other people, it doesn't have much time to get boring. But it wasn't really anything to blog about. Eh. Oh well. We got to Hilton Head around 5:15 or so. We were in a place called Sea Pines, on Royal Tern rd, and our houses were like right next to the beach, which was pretty sweet. And I rented a bike while I was there, which made it even more fun. The bike trails over there are awesome. Some of them twist and turn which makes them a lot of fun to bike on. Anyway, after we got there, we unpacked and explored the houses. We the guys decided that the girl's house was a LOT nicer than the guy's house. The girl's house had a neutral smell, but the guy's had a musty odor. And the girl's house had about 7 bathrooms, but the guy's had 3. =P But I hardly spent any time inside the houses, and we ate our meals and had our lessons at the girl's house. And I hardly spent any time in our room. (We were each assigned a room with 1 or 2 other people. I had a room with two other people, and two beds. So I slept on a couch upstairs. The houses were HUGE. Like ginormous. But we got there, explored them, and then after the next group arrived (The people who couldn't get out of school that Friday) we ate. We had ham and pork loin. Ham was good. :d I had no pork loin, which was the second wisest choice I made on that trip (Wisest was buying Fish flavored candy DON'T ASK). So that night all the girls migrated to our hot tub because theirs wasn't working. And then two of the older guys in our youth group threw someone into the pool. It was freezing. lol I know because later on they tried to throw me in. But I did it voluntarily. Seriously, I lost feeling in my legs. IT.WAS.COLD. Like ice cubes. Except worse because it was water. So then I got into the hot tub with everyone else. Cause now everyone was in it. =P And then the patrol people in the community came and told us to be quiet or we would have to pay a $1000 fine for being too loud. We used that threat throughout the whole trip. =P But we never had to pay it. We never got loud enough I guess. And then later that night I got ready to go to bed (Wound up being 1 AM =D) but didn't sleep in our room. I slept on a couch upstairs in my sleeping bag. OMG IT WAS SO COMFORTABLE =DDDDD I liked it a lot.

Feb 16th: Had to get up at 8:45 to eat break fast. We had pancakes and ham. =d There was a pattern throughout the trip. Whenever we had a new meal, there was always food from the previous meal out there. So our last meal was huge. lol After we finished eating, I learned that everyone who had eaten the pork loin the night before had had cramps during the night. So here is where my picky eating helped =D And then we had our lesson. All of our lessons were about Heaven and Hell. Then at 12 we had lunch, which was hot dogs. :d I loved all of the meals. =D Then we had free time. First on my priority list, was bike riding. It wasn't that much fun on the beach, but there were small hills on the trails which were fun. then I returned, and everyone was playing soccer. So I figured I'd join in. It was a lot of fun. =D I scored 3 or so goals, which was the most of anyone playing. Which i surprising cause I hadn't played in 6 years. But then the inevitable happened. I went to kick the ball or try to get it away from someone on the other team, and we kicked each other's feet. I was wearing shoes, but they're not sturdy at all. So, my toe got jammed. So I quietly left the game and went up to the house. Ironically, I was the only one there because everyone was playing Soccer. =P So, I soaked my toe for more than an hour in the ice cold pool. Then everyone returned. Then they all got into the hot tub and I joined in with my legs and alternated from hot to ice cold. Which was good. ^_^ It made me not have a sad anymore. But it still hurt like crazy and got REALLY swelled. I took a comparing photo, but it's still on the camera. Will edit when I upload it. It's disturbing. =P But anyway, after that we had dinner. Took a little while to walk there, but I made it. lol It was lasagna. And hot dogs (See the pattern? =D). I ate mostly hot dogs. They were really good. And then we had another lesson. After that we went to the hot tub again. Afterwards, we all separated to our separate houses. It's really boring in the guy's house. Because we don't do anything. 4 people brought their guitars, and they played them every night. One person could do the solo from One by Metallica, and another one of them could do the tapping in Eddie Van Halen's Eruption second 0:57-1:05 (Yes I checked it =P). Another one could do Sum 41 and blink-182 songs. So it was sort of like a concert.... all at the same time. Which was interesting. And that night I went to bed at 2.

Feb 17th: I woke up around 8:45 again, and we went to Church. The ride over there was interesting. And fairly funny. I was in the car with all the 17-18 year olds lol. And we followed close behind the other car with our youth group, and whenever we stopped we tried throwing mints to them. I don't think we ever got one to them. Oh well. And then we finally arrived after getting lost. It was a fun Church. (Random time quote: wow Addy's peoplephobic) But after it was done we went back and almost got pulled over by a cop. Which was kind of funny xD When we arrived back at the house we ate lunch, which was... well I forgot what the rest of the meals were. Then we had more free time. I went to the Salty Dog Cafe on my bike. It was about a mile away. =D On the way there I saw an Alligator, which was cool. Got a picture of him below. I got the fish flavored candy there. Later that night I managed to give it to someone. The result was comical. hehehee. But that night we moved all of the furniture back to where it was originally, packed, and cleaned.

Feb 18th: Had to wake up earlier, but didn't, so I almost missed breakfast. MORE PANCAKES om nom nom nom. So that day it was raining, which sucked. But we got all of the stuff loaded, and then we left around 1:30. Not much happened that day. I was in a very boring car with no legroom. >_< Not enjoyable. And we took back roads the whole way. I WAS BORED OUT OF MY MIND. But then we finally got back, went back home, etc. We went out to eat that night =D Which was cool.

So yeah that was the trip. And nothing has happened in the past week, except that I ordered a CD and a Wireless GH3 controller for the PS2. And I get to go to a party tomorrow. *Happy happy happy* And now here are pictures from the trip. Note: I got hardly any of the girl's house. I in actuality was nicer than the guys, but due to limited time in it, I didn't get many of it. Yes, it had a hot tub and pool, which were finally heated on Sunday. lol

Check Yes Juliet - We Three Kings

That's the free single this week. It's actually decent, unlike other weeks when it's been horrible.

Okay, so some of you may have noticed a few days ago my blog was redirecting to Blogpoll or somewhere. I assume it was from a poll I put in a while ago. It's been removed, so it should work normally now. ^_^

Okay, last week's Youth Group wasn't rant worthy. None have been lately. Which is a shame. But we went to Winter Jam last night, that was awesome. Pics later in the post. Basically, we all arrived at the Church around 5 PM. There was a lot of people there, but most of them were Middle Schoolers. Now, I have nothing against middle schoolers, but I'm just saying, they were the majhostority. =P Then about 5:20, we left to go to Augusta GA. On the way there, we stopped at a McDonald's (Pic of sign later in post). I got a plain double cheeseburger and drink. At around 6:10 we continued on. Thankfully, the only band we missed was the group of twelve year olds. None of us wanted to see them too much. =P We got there and the line was REALLY LONG. O_O However, there were two lines, and the other one was insanely short. =P So we got in fairly quickly. We got a seat with a good view (Kind of), but it was really far back. Stephen and I wandered around the Arena place while the other bands were performing that we didn't care about. We found a Skillet booth and a sign said "Skillet will be signing autographs at the intermission." So we got excited about that. Not excited like "OMG OMG OMG SKILLET OMG" but more like... um... "Yay." Yeah. Okay I'm bad at describing excitedness. Anyway, we wandered around more and found a place where all the band merchandise was sold. Stephen and I got a Skillet shirt, I got skillet gloves and a photo, he got a poster. Then we wandered back in briefly. Then Skillet came on at 7:45. =D I ran down and around the Arena to get a better seat to see them. I wound up being almost next to the stage. Got a few good pics, and new 4 out of the 5 songs they sang. They sang Whispers In the Dark, The Older I Get, The Last Night, Rebirthing, and Savior. The sound in the beginning of the Last Night when it suddenly gets loud was awesome live. =D And before they sang Rebirthing, the lead singer told us about their band name. He said "Our band is named after a frying pan. For those of you that think that's a dumb name... Shut up! I think YOU'RE dumb! No, just kidding. I don't really like the name either. But like I say, 'Hate the Name, Love the Music'. Okay, who thinks I should shut up and keep playing?" *Loud cheering* =P But yeah, when he said "Okay, this is gonna be our last song," I ran back to our seats, got the photo, and ran over to the Skillet booth. I was the second person in line. =D THEN the long line formed behind me. xD But, the people in front of me where holding positions in line for like 6 other people. <_< I HATE it when people do that. But, I got the photo signed. =D I kind of wish I had a CD for them to sign. But bringing a CD by a different band wouldn't have seemed.... weird. But I also got a pic of them. Guitarist was looking the other way though, and the one I got of him was blurry. :'( He had an awesome mohawk too. And the main singer wasn't there to sign things. The main singers never are. =/ Afterwards we had a few minutes to watch more bands, then we left. It was pretty awesome. =D

Anyway, I'm going on a Beach Retreat with our youth Group this coming Friday. That'll be awesomeness ^_____^ I'm looking forward to it. We're going to Hiltonhead. And here are photos:

Here's the leet speaking McDonald's sign (Backwards threes)

1st pic of Skillet performing.

2nd performing pic.

Guitar solo for either The Older I Get or The Last Night.

Shut-up and Smile - Bowling For Soup

Both Addy and Ziny agree that that is my theme song. :P

Well, I haven't posted in almost two weeks. And, that means Two rants, a lot of complaints of my sufferings, and, well, you get the idea.

Rant #1; Dateline, January 6th, 2008, 7:30 PM:
Well, since the Youth Grouping got moved to Sunday night, Stephen will no longer be able to come. Anyway, we have For Hymsn at 6, and Youth Group at 7:30. Which is sort of cool. But anyway, at around 7:30, our leaders came in, bearing ice cream and a lot of other stuff. :d We all had sundaes (Which sounds a little juvenile, but they were good :P). Then we had our lesson. We still use Lessons on DVDs, but we have a smaller TV to use now. And there's a yellow spot on the screen that always is right on the dude's face. o_O Anyway, after that, we got ready for the game, DDR. However, no one brought the gaming console to play it on. x_X So that was bust, and we just kind of hung out until it was over.

So not much happened there. I can remember the second week better though.

Basically, this week there was no food we watched a lesson, and played Catchphrase. Nothing really notable about that, but I was able to guess a few. =D Also, someone had the word "Shogun", so they said "the emperor of Japan", and immediately another girl said "Pharoah!". xD But that's about it...nothing exciting there...

Recently, my teeth have been hurting a lot, which isn't too much fun. :( Mostly one of my teeth's gum lines, it just started tonight. But, here's a look at the Seekay Newscast:
It snowed here last night! =D It stick, but then it turned to rain and it melted it all. So that wasn't much fun. In other news, I've started taking Rosetta Stone in school... no fun. And my iTunes shopping cart refuses to load. And my dad got a job transfer, so he now has to work weekends, and 14 hour work days. So, if you guys could pray for that, we'd appreciate it. ^_^

Here's some random chat moment in the Ziny-Seekay-Addy-sometimesPatrick chatrooms (M3WZYk = Ziny, I am confused23 = Addy, Seekay = Seekay):

Face of the Earth - tobyMac

Bet that some of you might have been thinking that about me. lol

I got my iPod back on Thursday. =D Yay. And it works, which is good.

Our new Youth Pastor videotaped the Christmas party yesterday, and he's gonna put it on youtube sometime, so you'll be able to see how hectic our youth groups really are. And yes, yours truly will be on there too. I'll post it here once he uploads it, have no fear. lol So here's what happened:

We got there around 6, and we ate lasagna there. It had so much cheese, mmm. Then Stephen and I were going to play 9-Ball, but he didn't really want to, so I played someone else. I lost, but I made most of the balls in. Which is the bad thing about 9-Ball, you just need to make the 9-ball in, but you must hit the lowest number ball first. It's actually pretty fun. And then we were called into the living room. We all took a number out of the hat to determine our order. [EDIT] Ok, I wrote that back on Thursday, so I might not be able to remember the rest of it...[/EDIT] In short, my sister got a goldfish, and I got a little beanie baby elf dude. Not by choice. I could've gotten something else, but no one wanted to trade. :P My fuzzy hat gift wound up being picked by a teacher. =/ Eh. But there were a few interesting gifts. Like Yeti slippers. xD After it ended, we basically came home and...um...well I forget. I didn't type it before I forgot. Oh well. But it's Christmas Eve, which is pretty cool. Before today, (21st, 22nd, 23rd) the days felt right. But now that it's the 24th, it suddenly seems like it's a long time before or a long time after. Which is really weird. But I guess I think pretty weird. Or I have pretty weird thinkings. Maybe. I don't know. My Aunt from England came here on the 22nd. We don't see her that much, so it was cool seeing her. And, yeah, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY that comes here. I'll comment later, I'm kind of busy. Again. Yes. That's why I haven't been on in a while. Later.

[EDIT 12-25-07]Yaaaaay, thanks for all the presents guys! =D I like them all. Although some are a bit strange for me...like the red prom dress... And seats for the car I have the grill to... :P And I have a pet Elephant Seal now, so....ha. xD Thanks guys. ^_^//--{CerealKiller}

VOTE FOR CHRIS!

Woo, okay, this is going to be a quite full entry. I'll divide this into sections so that you can guys can just read the parts you want (Click to go to that part =D):
-Summary of the trip-
iPod Error :(
CDs I got on the trip (Yes, that does deserve its own space)
Youth Group Rant
The Super Spiffy Tag from JusticeAndMercy

Thanks to some Javascript to get those to work. ^____^

Summary of mah Trip: some of you might have noticed that I was gone for about 2 weeks. We went to Florida again. My mom reeaally likes it there. And that was our last trip for a while (So I understand). Ok, I have a lot to tell you. I didn't bring the laptop, so I'm not going to be able to bore you with the details. But we left on Thursday the 29th. We travelled directly from our house to Disney, usually we stop at my grandparent's house. If it hadn't been for my iPod, the trip would've seemed a lot longer than just 10 hours. lol But we stopped at some outlets that we stop in every time, and I got a really cool shirt. Actually, it's 2 shirts, a long sleeve underneath, and a short, dressier one over top. And they're black. So it's kind of awesome. ^_^ So we got there at around 9 or so. We checked into the Pop Century, and basically hung out in the room or arcade. I got some pop rock things with the 1000+ tickets I had accumulated from previous trips. I had them with soda, DANG the popping noise was loud. :P (Not of my stomach popping, don't worry =D) We went to the Magic Kingdom the next day. They were filming the Christmas day parade. BTW, if you watch it on TV, and at some point when they're interviewing 2 people on Main Street, if you see a kid in a brown shirt to the far right waving like an idiot, you'll have seen me. =DDDDD I kinda doubt I'll be visible tho. lol ANYWAY, I'm not going to describe most of the trip. But if you ever ride Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, SIT IN SEAT #4. It is zee best seat to be in. You experience the falls really well and you feel the speed that you feel in seat #1. I've also come to realize that the front row/seat on most roller coasters is overrated, because you don't feel the drops as well. :( It's a pity. But anyway, I lost my ticket receipt for 1030 tickets on the last day at Pop Century. I was really sad because of that. I'm beginning to think someone stole it from my pocket... Because it was visible. But anyhoo, we moved into a 2-Bedroom at Saratoga Springs (A hotel in Disney). Aw man, that was nice. Our bedroom (My sister's and mine) was pretty big, and there was a living room with a kitchen next to it. It was soooo nice. Anyway, I had fun there. I shall no longer bore you with it.

Saddening Error D: the day we drove home (Sunday the 9th) was not a happy day for me. NOT because we were leaving, but because my iPod had been experiencing problems that day. It was pretty laggy in response, and when I was watching a video I had just added, the video kept freezing but the audio continued. And none of the games were able to be played. So when we got home, I plugged it into the computer. It told me a new version of software was available. I was pretty happy about that. So I told it to install, and once it finished, I got an error message from my computer. It said (I think) "This iPod could not be read. You must Restore it to its Factory Settings." For those of you that don't have an iPod, Restoring it to it's Factory Settings mean clicking Restore on my iPod, which deletes EVERYTHING from it. I thought "Ok, I'll just put everything back on." After I restored it, I plugged it back in and tried to put songs on it. It read copied them halfway, then stopped. 5 minutes later, it would say "The iPod 'Jimmy' could not be read from or written to." So my iPod is now dead. I'm going to send it to Apple to have it repaired once I receive the package to ship it in. I'm happy now though, because they'll either fix it, or send me a new one. =DDDDD Sending me a new one would be REALLY awesome. Either way I'll be happy though. But if they won't send me a new 80 GB one, I hope they send me my original back, because... well, it's Jimmy.... :(

The Super Spiffy CDs from Virgin Records: Ok, so I got some awesome deals on CDs while I was in Donwtown Disney. There's a store there called Virgin Records. 2 floors of CDs, DVDs, Gaming Systems, Games, and Books. =O I was in a Heaven on Earth while I was in there. Anyway, here are the CDs I got and the price at which I got them:
Toxicity - System of a Down: $8.00 + tax
The Beautiful Letdown - Switchfoot: $8.00 + tax
Boys Like Girls - Boys Like Girls: $10.00 + tax
Never Take Friendship Personal - Anberlin: $13.49 + tax (I got a 10% discount for having an Annual Pass to Disney)

Youth Group Rant for Wednesday: I'm not sure I can remember it too well. Well, we didn't have it at the normal place because one of our leaders had a medical procedure done. It went well, but she wasn't up to having it at their house. So we went to another one of our leader's house. Stephen didn't come this week tho. I got there around 7, and was told that it had started at 6:30. Eh. But the house we had it at was AWESOME. I can't describe it AT ALL (lol), but it was very unique and spiffy. They were roasting marshmallows out back, so I did some. Ok, a lot. But I don't get them that often. I got them at just the right temperature where I could squeeze the marshmallow, then pull it, and the outer layer (That was exposed to the heat) would come off, leaving a sticky but tasty marshmallow underneath. :d Then we had our lesson. It was discussing the Birth of Christ. Then we were separated into 3 groups. Each group was given a passage of scripture to act out. We got the part of the 3 Magi coming to see Mary and Jesus. Well, I won't describe our performance, but we lost. Everyone else's was funny. Ours...wasn't. :P But then we played Flashlight tag. I won the first round, because my hiding places were diversified. I first hid in bushes, then next to our youth leader's boat that was against the house, and then in a car that had been previously occupied by 2 other people. :P BUT I WON =D Then the next time we played I didn't feel like it, so I sat and burned marshmallows into charcoal (Or maybe just one). Then we came home. Wow, I haven't actually complained/Ranted or Raved about Youth Group in a while. =O

Drones - Rise Against

Ugh, I'm way too stressed out right now. I need to finish packing and a lot of other things before we leave tomorrow morning at around 9. And my mouth hurts and I can't talk clearly. AND my computer is slow enough to make me want, no, NEED to bang my head on the keyboard repeatedly. And on top of all that my guitar for Guitar Hero seems to be broken, or at least laggy in response to touch. Throw all of this together and you get a really grumpy Seekay. >:(

We went to the orthodontist today, and I had an "Application" or "Device" inserted into my mouth and cemented in place. This is basically what it looks like on the top of my mouth. It causes MUCH pain to my back left tooth. AAAHHHHH. That made me unable to speak clearly, which is not fun. I'm getting better though, but it's still freaking annoying. Anyway, here's what happened at Youth Group.

Stephen came today, which was good. Before we left, I discovered that my dad had bought a Rise Against album a few years ago that I had just bought off of iTunes. Figures. It's happened before. I also found a Panic! At The Disco album that he had listened to once and didn't like it. After listening to it, I understood why....
When we leave, stress level = 0

We got there a little after 6. Early? Not really, they were serving pizza there. :d Mmm, cheese pizza from Papa John's. That brightened my day a little. At least until the cheese and sauce began getting caught between the retainer part of my "Device" and the top of my mouth. That was solved by Root Beer (Baaaaad choice). Then we played some Halo 3. I had improved a little since last time I played it, but our play time was really unfair. We got to play once, then we were forced to trade them to people who hadn't played yet. And then THEY got to play for 3 games. Then we got them back, at the exact time that the lesson started. <_< We never did get to play again...the lesson lasted about 15 minutes, then we played a game called "The Last Word". Our judge was on the other team, and we lost (See a connection?). Basically, they got 2 answers right as the buzzer went off, and we were tied. Then we got an answer right as the buzzer went off. Did we get the point? Nooooooo we didn't. But they always did, even after that. I don't feel like describing how the game was played, too much stress. Then after the game we went into the pool room. We basically always go there after the game because Stephen wants to. There's not even really anything to do there because we never get to play pool. Eh. I feel like I'm pointing out all the bad things. Probably because I am.
After Youth Group, stress level = 4

So then we got back and I got another Rise Against album (Revolutions Per Minute) and chatted with Stephen. Now here's where my computer problems kick in. First, the album refused to download. I finally got it to, but only after about 10 minutes. Then Stephen's mom emails me a photo that she wanted photoshopped. So, I open up photoshop to do it, get halfway through, then try to save it. It freezes up, and I have to force quit it and start over. I finally get that done after an hour, then go to play Guitar Hero.
After Photoshop and album, stress level = 8

I go down to play Guitar Hero 3, put it in, then accidentally reset it after it loaded everything. That annoyed me. Then, when I'm playing a song, I KNOW I'm hitting the right notes, but I'm missing them. I fly into a confused rage. I pause the game, disconnect the controller, and plug in a different one. The other one worked fine. After the song, I open up the first guitar, and investigate. Nothing appeared to be wrong. So I get even more confused. Then I remember I had to gather the trash. I do that, then get on the computer.
After Guitar Hero, stress level = 10.

So, as I began this, my stress level was about maxed out. And now, after making many mistakes on this entry, my stress level breaks 11.5. I can feel my neck cramping with knots right now. And.I.Still.Need.To.Pack. I feel as if I'm going to lose my mind right now.......... I need to vent my stress a little right now.

Oh shoot, I think I just broke my 'Shift' and 'Cmd' keys......

Swing Life Away - Rise Against

So, as most of you know, this is a really late post. I don't have a good excuse for that now. Sorry I have not commented on any of your blogs recently, but I've been very busy lately, especially yesterday. And I got braces on Monday and 3 spacers. And I'm going back this Monday to get what they simply refer to as a "Device" put on the top of my mouth. So yeah, that doesn't sound good to me. o_O And I've gotten a lot more music since last week:
The One Thing I Have Left - Hawk Nelson
Forever - Papa Roach [Clean]
Before I forget - Slipknot (From GH3)
The Metal - Tenacious D [Clean]
When You Were Young - The Killers (From GH3)
Boston - Augustana
Blink-182: Greatest Hits - blink-182 [Clean] (Album)
The Sufferer and the Witness - Rise Against [Clean] (Album)
Swing Life Away - Rise Against

Rise Against is like the most spiffiest band evah. =D But here's what happened on Wednesday.

Stephen didn't come again this week (Figures), and I got there a little before 7. The lesson was about How Do We Define Christians? I don't remember much about it though, sadly. And the game was just....messed up. lol Well, not the first game, but the second game. The first game was "Signs" again. It wasn't as much as last week though. And the second game was this: There were 2 long carrots that were given to 2 people (We're all in a circle). And then those people pass th carrots to other people (There's a person in the middle too) without the person in the middle knowing who has the carrot. And, get this, we were supposed to bite off a bit of the carrot and eat it every time...after about 20 different people have all touched it. I was spared though because of my braces. ^___^ But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if nobody came next week because they're all sick. :P lol Well, I guess there isn't one anyway...never mind. But the reason I didn't post this Wednesday or Thursday (Or Friday) was because I went laser-tagging with our Youth Group last night. It was SPIFFEH. But yesterday was one of the busiest days in my life. :P Now, I hate every other Friday because I have a Science test. Yesterday was one of those weeks. From the time that I finished breakfast to the time I went to Basketball practice at 5, I had maybe only 1 break that was about 10 minutes long. Here are the tests I had yesterday: 2 French Tests, a Science Test, a History Test, a Vocabulary Test, and some other test. But I also had chores and stuff. So I barely finished lol. Then I had to leave Basketball practice 15 minutes earlier than it ended. Then I had forgotten my basketball there, so I really pushed being at the Church before they left, but I made it. And I had burned a CD with Rise Against, blink-182, Hawk Nelson, and several other bands on it. Then we stopped at McDonald's to get dinner on the way there. I got 2 burgers cause I was really hungry. Then Stephen and I (He had come too which was quite awesome) sat next to William and Brandon, who are kind of annoying in a short run, but we can tolerate them for short amounts of time lol. Then when I went to get my 2nd burger, Brandon put a bunch of fries in my drink. Which I didn't notice until after I took a sip. It didn't taste any different though. Then we headed toward the laser tag area. We got there and played some Arcade games first, then we played. I got a vest that was faulty. It took forever to actually shoot someone. So I had zero points at the end of that. And then I played some arcade games (Needless to say that first game put me in a bad mood). Stephen and I played a Motorcycle-ish game, and then another game of laser tag. This time it was teams. What was pretty funny is that at the end, our team had 3675 points. I scored 3300 of them. Stephen scored the other 375. lol I found an awesome place to crouch down and snipe people and a stationery target before being detected. I stayed there for most of them time lol. Next game was called "Vampire". One person had a red colored vest, and everyone else had green. The person in the red vest tried to shoot everyone else 5 times, which then made them turn red. At the end of the round, if everyone was red, the Vampire won. If there was a green left, he lost. The vampire won. :P Next time we played another team round which was awesome. There were four teams, and I finally got the hang of playing. Whenever I was near someone shooting them, I just had to jump up and down, or jerk left and right, and they wouldn't be able to shoot me. I got 11 people in a row this way. =D Then there was another break, and I found an arcade game that had a flaw. No matter what, you almost always got 30 tickets per token no matter what. Sometimes you even got in the hundreds. I can't really describe the game though. But I got 771 tickets from it for 10 bucks (44 tokens) lol. I got a laser pointer, Airheads extreme, a little plastic ninja dude, a little plastic thing that was supposed to be a small spaceship, a bouncy ball, and that's about it. Then we played another game which was a Free for All. It was funny, because even though it was an FFA, William, Brandon, and another kid and I all decided to have a truce. We all camped out in the same area and OWNED. Then I broke free of the truce and went somewhere else. But I still came in first with 6675 points. ^_^ (You get 100 points for shooting someone, 25 from shooting a stationery object, and lose 75 if you're shot) Then we played one final game, another game of vampire, where I was the vampire. My performance was rather pathetic. Then we all left to head back to Church at around 12 AM. Got back home and went to bed. Then I woke up today and had to go clothes shopping. But I got a spiffy jacket and shirt. Yay.

Dare You To Move - Switchfoot

BEWARE: LONG POST AHEAD; NOT FOR THE SHORT ATTENTION SPAN PEOPLE (Ok, maybe for them too)

Before the long rant, I'm going to recount what happened in the past week. Last Wednesday, there turned out to be Youth Group, but we didn't go. We stayed home and handed out candy. Well, my Mom went to choir and my Dad went out to buy GH3 for me (Not for free; I'm under a contract for the rest of the year with a fair allotment of work). So my sister and I handed out candy to the kids that came. There were 2 definite groups: 2-7 year olds, and 12 year olds. Most of the 12 year olds weren't even in costume, lol. Some just came in all black clothing ("Take a look at my clothes, All Black" -Good Charlotte). I carved an awesome pumpkin. I'll provide a picture soon. And then I played Guitar Hero 3 non-stop for the rest of the night. And then on Saturday Stephen got back from the beach, and I won a $50 gift card for iTunes for $13.50 from eBay. =D So far I've gotten:

Don't Give Up - Sanctus Real
Bring 'Em Out - Hawk Nelson
Zero - Hawk Nelson (Thanks to babyrach91 for referring me to this song, I love it)
Everything You Ever Wanted - Hawk Nelson
The Devil Went Down to Georgia - Point blAnk (From GH3)
Miss Murder - AFI (From GH3)
Good Morning Revival (Rest of album) - Good Charlotte
Dare You To Move - Switchfoot
Back Where We Belong - The Last Goodnight
Thnks fr th Mmrs - Fall Out Boy
Kernkraft 400 (Sport Chant Stadium Remix)
And some Invader Zim episodes.

And now the rant: Stephen was sick today, so he didn't come ( D: ) I got there a little before 7, and most people were either playing Pool or Ping Pong, except for Anna, who was reading. So I watched pool, then the lesson ensued. We learned about the Relationship between God and Man, and about how it was shattered with Adam and Eve and God is trying to reestablish the relationship repeatedly (Yay Alliteration!).
And then we played a game. Don't remember the name, but basically someone started with the letter one. Then the next person said 2, and so on. Whenever someone had a turn with a number divisible by 7 or containing the letter 7, they had to say "Buzz". Not saying buzz or saying buzz on a wrong number and you're out. It was pretty funny because the teacher explaining it failed on 49. :P
Then we played a game called "Signs". We were all in a circle, and (In order) thought up a sign (with fingers, face, hands etc.) and showed it to everyone. You were supposed to memorize them. Then someone was chosen to be in the middle, and someone was chosen to start the game. There was an "Invisible Potato" (Or so I was told) that people had to transfer by doing signs. You performed the sing of the person you were transferring the "Potato" to. To receive it, they had to do their sign. Then someone was chosen to be in the middle, and someone was chosen to start the game. The person in the middle was supposed to figure out who had the "Potato". If they guessed correctly, then the person who had it went to the middle. And so on. It was pretty fun. Then I came home, and yeah.

Benjamin, you mark the life that was left behind,
We see him in your eyes.
And we will be friends for a long, long time...

Benjamin - Sanctus Real.

I've got that song stuck in my head now. =D But I'll explain why later. And this is going to be a full entry. Kind of.

I'm going to try something Chris did a few days ago. To quote him:
----------------------
Look to see who last commented on this entry, then write something nice about them and leave it in a comment. If you don’t know the person, just go to their blog and check them out.
----------------------

Now, for the 2 days late rant (I'll explain why it's late later too).

Ok, So Stephen was able to come this week. Which was good. We got there about right on time. The vignette we watched was surprisingly similar to the one we saw about 2 weeks ago. Which was kind of weird. We also watched a video from youtube (Terry Tate As Office Linebacker). I'm not sure what it was supposed to represent or anything, but it was funny. Then we continued the game we started 2 weeks ago. About the most embarrassing things. At the end mine was chosen (About running into a pole while walking into target). Three people were chosen (I had to be one of them), we all looked over the story, and then we all went into the main lesson room area, sat down, and people asked us questions after the story had been read. And most people thought it was me. ^___^ Which is a good thing, you want people to think it's you. And that basically wrapped up Youth Group. Yes, I don't rant much about it anymore. =/ Sorry.

And Last night, I went to a Stephen Curtis Chapman Concert. I didn't think it'd be that much fun, but I figured "Hey, it's a concert. May as well go." So I went with Stephen. Sanctus Real opened the concert, and that's why I have that song stuck in my head. But it's an awesome song. They played Benjamin, Face of Love, I'm Not Alright, Don't Give Up, and quite a few more. It was about an hour later that Stephen Curtis Chapman started playing. :P He came up on the stage, and I had no idea who he was. lol He played a lot of songs I'd never heard before (But I liked them), and didn't play the one I was hoping he'd play (Declaration of Dependence). It was really loud there. I'm sure I lost a lot of hearing cells. xD Near the end, he started playing Live Out Loud. So far, this was the only song that I knew. So I was happy. Then I went down to the floor (My seat was originally on an elevated stand place (Not a balcony). But I switched seats several times, lol. So I start jumping around and other stuff. Then as the final song, he played Dive In. That was awesome. Because just about everyone in the whole place new that song, so it was deafening. But mostly awesome. Then at the end, I bought a Sanctus Real poster, and the person who gave it to me told me they were signing stuff about 20 feet away, and there was hardly any people out yet, so I got it signed by all of them (Except for the main singer, who must've been backstage. He has Awesome Hair), and shook hands ith the bassist. Probably the closest to fame I'll get. lol And tomorrow we're leaving to go on another trip. I'll be gone in Florida for the next week. When I get back, I'll return comments. =D

And for all of you awaiting Guitar Hero 3.... This is your new Jordan. D:
