i just found your blog through eyecorn. you sure do have your hands full. i just have three - 8, 6 and 20 months and i feel like i have my hands full....
i read that you were born in arkansas. i live in arkansas. nice to meet you.
I just wanted to drop by and wish all of my friends a very happy and blessed EASTER! May God bless you and cause his face to shine upon you. ((Hugs)) Jessie
I found your blog by random blogging, and I have been thoroughly enjoying it.
I, also, signed up for the CHCH Challenge, but I haven't done any of it. First, by accident, Amy missed me, and I didn't get word. Then, the same day I realized it and contacted her, my dad died. I've been caught up with that ever since. (That was on Monday; today is the following Saturday.)
I am the mom of a 19 year old daughter, graduated from our home school and living away from home attending a University, a 16 year old daughter, in 11th grade in our home school, and a 6 year old son. We did not do sons until so recently (for us). We did not know, before, when we watched other parents of sons, that they came from another planet...
I think having one son who has no one to play with is worse than having two sons who can play with each other, unless they decide to be two sons who tear the house apart together, I don't know...
I am adding you to my friends list. Feel free to visit my blog sometime.
I think your 101 things to do is a great idea. My list usually has very little bite-sized pieces. I could have made 101 things to do JUST cleaning the school room (the entry you commented on ....and thank you!).
For example:
1. Find boxes before cleaning out schoolroom
2. Empty Child #1's desk
3. Organize each desk drawer for Child #1
4. Organize books for Child #1
5. Update filing of loose papers for Child #1
Now I give this checklist to child #1 and delegate/supervise these activities. If you have 4 kids, then there's 20 things on your to do list, just waiting for you to inspect and check off! Of course I'm the kind of person that puts things on my list JUST so I can check them off.....I get giddy marking off all the items.
