Nov. 24, 2008 - The Concert
Okay, as 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 of you may have all ready been told, I went to a concert last Friday night. I went to see the rock band 'Nine Inch Nails'. And I have to say that it was without a doubt, the GREATEST concert ever!!! It was spectacular!!! Okay, before they actually started playing, there was an opening band, they were a japanese rock band called, 'Boris'. They had a few really good songs, but then they had a few stinkers as well. They played for about 45 minutes, then left so people could all the equipment ready for the good stuff. hehe. They started out with a bang, playing their song , '1,000,000'. It was loud and it was great. The lead singer Trent Reznor does a really good job using the whole stage. And over the course of the whole concert, he played the guitar, the piano, and even the xylophone! It was fantastic! During their more famous song, 'March of The Pigs', he tossed the microphone stand waaaaaaay up in the air, and let it smash down on stage, all while he kept singing. haha. Their use of special effects really added to the music and the whole experience. I payed 42 dollars for my ticket, but they played for 2 and half hours straight, so I got my money's worth. If you see that Nine Inch Nails is coming to your town, spend the money! GO SEE THEM!!! IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!
