CHICKENS!

We are currently raising 18 Baby Egg Layers 2 Adult Roosters and 24 Baby Meat Chickens (for fair). I feel like I really am "Chicken boy". We have had sooooo many chickens it's not even funny. Our meat chickens are....well.......Ugly! Their not doing so well (not growing quick enough) so please pray that they'll grow in time for fair. Also, the baby chicks (that will soon be egg layers) are so cute! I really enjoy them! they act so funny! Anyways... I'll stop blabing.

Urgent Prayer Request!

Please Pray! One of our family friends (who is pregnant) woke up this morning and didn't feel the baby moving. They are currently at the hospital. This will be their 8th child. Please pray NOW that they will not lose this child, and that God would grant him LIFE. (By the way the baby will be a boy) This family NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS! Please pray Constantly through out the day over this family. Again THEY NEED YOUR PRAYERS! PLEASE PRAY!

A recent Court Case could END private homeschooling in California.  This could also invaraiably affect our country.  Please pray over this ruling!  Please pray for those of us in California who privately homeschool!

This ruling could effectively end private homeschooling in CA. The
family involved were not members of HSLDA, but HSLDA is now researching
the case. They will let us know what action needs to be taken. We need
to pray that our rights will be protected.

On Monday me, my brother, and my Dad all piled in the truck to go pick up our newest addition to the family! We arrived at the barn of the man selling the goat to us just in time! He showed her to us us and after a long time of picking out the details, we loaded her into the back of the truck and headed home. Her name, by vote, became Gabby (the Goat). She is a 2 year old cashmere goat and has a very distinguished personality! She's about the size of our black lab dogs. She is a social goat, well, at least to humans and cats, not to dogs!  I wouldn't blame her, she tried being friends with them but they wouldn't let her! Any ways the charactor of the Week is Gabby the Goat! - Justin

Be wise- read, stay informed, seek wise counsel

Proverbs 27:23 Know well the conditions of your flocks…for riches do not last forever

Be balanced- a great example is found in Proverbs 31- There is a time for all things

                     Find out what you like to do and get paid for it!!

Physical= ballet lessons, car wash, rotatilling, lawn, housecleaning, pet walking

Mental= tutor, tech jobs, Craigs list, stock, problem solving

Social= B-day/ tea parties, garage sales, door to door sales

Creative= scrapbooking, wallpaper,sewing quilts,handpuppets, flower bouquets
