We have had a dollhouse hanging around for years… First it was my oldest daughters, then it became my youngest and they both loved playing with it, but now they are ready for it to leave…
Well I have became really attached to it.. So when my youngest wanted to get rid of it, I thought what a fun project it would be to turn it into a collectors doll house. We started by bringing it back to the plain wood and removing some of the stuff that makes it a play house.
Then with an idea that my dad had we started cutting up cereal boxes and designing the roof lines. I plan on making the same modifications on the other side of the house. Our next step is to remove the existing windows and open the back up more.
