News:
Did you all see the thing about the state legislator suing God? I found that very interesting. He wants to show how easy it is to move a frivolous lawsuit forward. I admire his desire to improve the legal system, but what is sad is what his charges are against God. He is suing God for all the bad in the world.
He is blaming God for all the bad in the world? This obviously will make some Christians say: “Heck, doesn’t he know he should be suing the Democratic Party?” :)
In other interesting news, the U.S. Senate voted to say that a certain ad paid for by the political action group MoveOn.org was bad. The ad showed a picture of the Commanding General in Iraq and asked: “General Petraeus, or General Betray-us?”
Some may say this was a bad thing for the Senate to do and that we are starting to tread on the “right to free speech”. I think it is great that the Senate publicly said this was a bad ad. The ad was slander, and the right to slander is not protected by our constitution.
