The Big News: Starting January 1st I will no longer blogging on HSB. Instead I am moving onto bigger and better things by starting my own website: www.reliantclay.com please check it out and tell me what you think!
But until January first I will still be posting 5 days a week as I have for the last 16 months.
At my new site I will be posting about my life and my thoughts once a week. The rest of the week’s posts will consist of posts on music by myself, and posts by other writers. Think of it as an e-mag with just way too much music in it.
I will be leaving HSB completely, only leaving comments to a select few. I will respond to most comments left on my new site by commenting myself, as most professional blogs do. I will keep up with online friendships using my new site’s message boards—not by using HSB.
Why am I leaving HSB?
1. I won’t have time to blog like I do now, thanks to living at college.
2. My blog will be able to reach people who are not homeschoolers.
3. I will blog for those that want to read, not those that simply want comments from me
4. My blog will be more professional, having it’s own domain name

The Grammy nominations are out, and the year-end charts were published. Let’s throw out what the big wigs and the sales figures say for a moment, and I’ll share my personal top 5 singles of 2007:
1. Hey There Delilah, Plain White T’s
OK, so it is really sad that I’m admitting this to the world, but yes. This song gets me every time.
2. Apologize, Timberland+One Republic
The best producer on the planet has made one of the best sounding songs I’ve heard all year. The lyrics are hard for me to relate to, but emotionally gripping nonetheless.
3. Waiting On The World To Change, John Mayer
An anthem for how my mind looks at the world.
4. Critically Acclaimed, Avenged Sevenfold
A truly soul wrenching hard rock song…with a hook and chorus? Sounds crazy but they did it. Support the troops!
5. How Far We’ve Come, Matchbox 20
Again, words that I wish I had written—and a sound that is the definition of fresh.
So what were your guys top 5 this year?
