Hey guys! I'm sorry that I haven't posted in so long. I'm just really lazy. Anyway, I'll try to keep up on posting. So today, I'm posting about Forgiveness!

So, we all do bad things right? We have to admit it, we're not perfect. Nobody is. God is. Why is it so hard for us to forgive our friends, but some of the time, it's easier to forgive God? Say your closest friend spread a rumor about you. Would God do that? NO. That's probably why. God loves us SO amazingly much, that He would never hold a grudge. Sure everything you do is recorded in that book, but He still forgives, that is, if you ask for forgiveness. One thing that makes me a little upset though, is the Bible says that if you don't forgive others, God won't forgive you. Is that really true? If so, I don't think God could ever forgive me. There are things that people have done to me, I still haven't forgiven. So, when you are still mad at somebody, and you ask God to forgive you, will He? Anyway, it's probably easier for Him to forgive us, than for us to forgive others. He loves us like alot, and we don't love others as much as God loves us. Do we? I don't think so. So if we don't love somebody, that makes it harder. But even when you don't forgive others, God still loves you. Isn't that cool?

Anyway, what does forgiveness mean to you? What the "FOR" means, is this is basically FOR you, "GIVE" my gift to you. My gift, is that I'm not going to be mad at you, or hold a grudge. That's what it means to me. What does it mean to you?

Another thoughful post!! I know it's easy to think that God will still forgive you even if you don't forgive others, but the Bible is all true and He says that He will not forgive us if we don't!!! Thanks for reminding me to forgive and forget!!!

Sorry I haven't been here in awhile!

Forgiveness is hard but it's something we have to do. It's amazing that God forgave us so much, for every bad thing that we've done, but when a friend does just one thing wrong we find it so hard to forgive! I think the main reason we should forgive is so that other's will know that we are living for God, and if they don't already know Him they will think, 'Wow, she is so nice, I never would have forgave someone for that. I wonder why she does that?' And they might be drawn into a relationship with Christ.

For me, the problem would be more about forgetting than forgiving, although they are so connected it is difficult to separate. If you forgive, do you forget? And if you don't forget, did you forgive? That is a tough one. I am so very thankful that God did GIVE us His son, FOR us, that Christ gave his life for us. And with that, we have to forgive, because we are called to, and if Christ died for us, then he also died for those who have hurt us...vicious circle. I am thankful, and try very hard to forgive.
