Friends are a big part of your life, and effect you more then you know. God put friends in your life for a reason! Some build you up, and some tear you down. But what exactly does it been to use the terms: Build you up, and tear you down? Friends that build up: In my opinion, a friend that 'Builds you Up,' is somebody who is a true friend. They don't insult you, they tell you the truth, they are completely honest, and many more things. But what about the things that they do? Does the music they listen to effect you at all? what about the way they talk? Friends that tear down: You may not think that these are big deals, but they do more then you know. A friend that swears can sometimes have a big effect on you. Say you never swear. What happens when they swear around you? Do you talk to them about it, or just nod it off? Nodding it off isn't always the best thing to do. Then, they don't get the picture and they will keep doing it, without noticing what it does. And what about the music they listen to? What if you are not allowed to listen to it? you may think it isn't a big deal because your parents aren't there, or you think that once in a while won't hurt. But it does effect you, more than you know. People may tell you to let those friends go. But that isn't always the best idea. If you don't tell them what's going on, they won't know what they need to work on, and it wouldn't be very fair to them. Be an influence on them!
