Creating a Love for Lifelong Learning

Apr. 28, 2008 - The Closing Date is Set!

Posted in Everyday Life

Woo hooo! Praise Jesus, our closing date has been scheduled for Thursday at 2pm! I am soooo excited!!!! There is a lot to do but at least we'll be doing something and moving forward now! :) Our plan is to move in May 10th, but anything is possible! We do have some work to do on it to bring it to city code before moving in, but it's not anything major. We should be able to get it done this weekend. I can't wait! I'm so excited to be able to go to our house and do work on it. I'd like to finish raking the leaves in the back and maybe even mow the front and back lawn and do some landscaping (trim bushes, plant flowers, etc.) I'm just sooo excited! I finally feel like it's ours and it's really happening! Well, truly it's God's house. We couldn't have done any of this without Him and we intend to use this house for His Glory!

Yahoo!!! Praying everything goes smoothly at the closing. Dealing with forclosures can be tricky. Our 1 hour appointment turned into a 6 hour mess!! Thankfully it sounds like all of the bugs have been worked out before your closing date!

Can't wait to see pictures and hear more about it. Have fun moving and setting up your new home.

Hey Friend!
So glad to hear you and baby are doing ok. You always look at things with a 'half full' perspective, I love that about you! Nursing Ben still? I'm impressed. I always wondered how that would affect a prego body.
As for me, I'm doing well. Jason has been out of state on business this week. He returns tomorrow afternoon. I miss him so. But I've managed this week. We're planning some special things for his return and going out for dinner tomorrow night. Trying to see if he can get an earlier flight tomorrow, as he has wrapped up his activites already. But we'll see.
I've kinda hit a speed bump this week as you can see at my blog. But I'll get back at it soon. Hopefully next week.
We're enjoying our 'summer' break already. Of course learning never stops. Thats one thing we have changed at our home -- our thinking about school time. We no longer, or at least we try, to not say 'are we doing school?' Or is this our 'school' time today? I've tried to change my thinking and the kids that life is school...so if you get up, then yes, we are schooling. It makes a difference when we focus on life learning rather than a specified time slot of learning. Esp. doing the CM way, it is a way of life. We are really enjoying it, Jason included.

As for me personally.....I'm doing super. God's been dealing with me on some things, I'm growing, I'm seeing that the needs I once had for outisde sources are starting to dissapate, thats huge growth for me. As God changes my path and closes this or that chapter of my life, I see His new paths opening. I'm so thankful for His grace and direction, new friends and old ones too!! :))

I know you are probably terribly tired from a weekend of packing, moving, unpacking and all the extra things that need to be doen for that inspection.

Wanted to say hello and tell you I miss talking to you! Maybe when things settle down for you I can phone you for some catch up girl time!
