Well, it has been a very busy work day and I'm looking very forward to going home to see my family. A good homeschooling friend of mine suggested that I do this. I hope that it will be used, read and enjoyed by all.
Let me tell you about my darling daughter's (Angelina) trip to the emergency room this last Sunday. Our family was at the garden and enjoying the sun. I was being very lazy and sitting under a tree. Mark was working hard in the garden. The girls were playing in the playhouse-we thought until we heard the scream of big ouch from Angelina. Mark went over to the playhouse and Angelina is crying on the ground. After much discussion and lots of tears, we find out that Angelina is saying her tummy hurts. Jessica is saying that she didn't push her sister but that they both climb up on the roof of the playhouse. Angelina wanted down but couldn't get down on her own. Big sister, Jessica, says, "Jump, I'll catch you." Jessica tells Daddy, "She was too heavy." End result.....trip to ER to make sure that Angelina is not seriously hurt. 4 hours later.....Mommy is tired, Daddy is tired, Angelina is just fine and wants ice cream! Kids will be kids. Parents will be tired but very grateful that all is well in the Harris household.
