Fun times with Ancient Egypt

Thank God for our Teh. Homeschool Group.  We had so much fun this Monday.  My good and supportive homeschool friend Deb let me do a summer day camp at her home.  We were immersed in Egyptian times for 4 hours.  11 kiddos and several parents were there.  We made Egyptian clothing, bracelets, and necklaces.  An Ancient Day Salad was connocted by the kids.  Many of them tasted it but mostly the parents ate it up.  The grapes were a hit though.  The children also made mummies and a snake game.  All left with papers showing how to write their names in hieroglyphics, who are the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, and inventions/skills of Egypt.  Our girls enjoyed their day very much and their Mommy was exhausted with going non-stop for 4 hours.  We are so grateful for finding this homeschool group as it has been a great asset on our journey.

much fun wasn't it! Ok--you beat me to it....I am not sure that I even wrote about the Summer day camps last week. I really appreciate your support as well. You are truly a great friend and I am so glad that I met you.
