URGENT PRAYER!!! (as in pray NOW!)
| OK, so a really good friend of mine and my friend Lexy has been going through some really hard times. She has been borderline suicidal for a long time and sees herself as just a pain in the neck to me and Lexy for bothering us with her troubles. I got an E-mail from her today tellinng me goodbye and she was sorry for being so much trouble and sorrow.
Please pray she will find the strength to live and keep living. Also that she will see how much she is cared about and loved by family and friends. |

| Ok, so normally I'm really innvolved with my churches Drama, the AWANA group, or the Youth Group. Because we move to Mallaysia next month I had to drop out of Drama, AWANA is over for the year, and I don't have much time for Youth Group. Well my mom and dad are letting me help with my Church's VBS program next week and I'm soooooo excited! I was at the leader's meeting last night and already I helped sdo stuff with the Power Point slides, the sound board, I handed out flyers, signed up to help to muucsic and activities durin the opening time, amd rigged one lady's CD player to our Youth Room's sound system! Finally I have something to do besides lay at home, read for my English AP class, listen too music and draw!
YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!! |

Whazzup?
| Ok, so we got back from Malaysia Sunday and I was suddenly struck with some weirdo sickness, talk about good luck =P
Penang was actually pretty kool. It had just the right mix of old and new and an interesting blend of multiple cultures and just enough seedy crossed with high-end to make me feel at home. It would have helped if the people there had less choppy english and that it would have been less humid. It would be like 80something degrees and feel like a hundred because of the humidity. Not fun =P The food there is great though, juust don't eat from the road-side stalls. But we whent to places like the 'Eden' seafood place, the 'Kashmir' indian restaraunt, 'Chili's' American food, and a couple other places where we got tto try Chines and Malay food. I also got to see the school I'll go to, 'Dalat International'. They have a kool computer lab, a lybrary, and a gym.
That's it for now, talk to ya all later! |

Firebird
Ladies and Gents, meet the 2001 Pontiac Firebird! This is a version of my dream car, my dream car being the 1995 version of the Firebird. The Firebird is known as a sporty car and is esp popular because of the ease at which one can costomize the body and engine of the car. The 1995 Pontiac was given a customized body and used in one of the older Batman movies as the Batmobile. Kool huh? |

New stuff
| OK, so for thse of you who don't know me well, I have a comicbook obsession, esp with a company called 'CrossGen'. CrossGen was an awesome company who had greaty storylines and even better art (I think it rivals alot of the Marvel and DC comics). But in about 2003, CrossGen went out of buisness. Well, today I finally decided to look up why they went out of buisness. Turns out the had some problems with payments and freelancers and stuff like that, a bunch of people left, including one of the co-founders and Ron Marz, who was one of the best writers CrossGen could have hoped for. Well because these people left and because of the financial problems, people stopped bying CrossGen comics. Then Barnes and Nobles Books took their stock of comics and returned them to CroossGen demanding a Refund, causeing Crossgen to file bankruptsy(sp?). So that is what happened, and that is my random fact of my day. |

Good news all around! =)
OK, as you all saw in my last post, 'I <3 Superchic[k]' So for Valentines Day my Mom got me their 'Beauty From Pain 1.1' CD and I have been listening to it 24/7 xD

But Melissa Brock still Rocks!!! =D
OK, but on a couple other points besides Superchic[k]... I have a friend who I discovered is not a Christian. But she seems very open to the idea of becoming one =D So please pray that I have the words and all to bring her to Christ!
I had a rockin' Valentines Day, There is this gal in Texas (you know who you are ) who called me Wednesday night and we talked for a bit, and I traded V-day cards whith her and 2 other gals I know. That and my new CD it was a great V-day.
It has been confirmed by Intel, my family and I are moving to Malaysia after the school year is over. My dad has already been talking to the relocation agents. Please pray all will go well. |

I am of the Night
People cannot see my other part,
The part that is me alone in the dark.
My eyes become bright,
I can see at night.
Darkness becomes my comforter,
I can let out my creature.
My senses are keener, I can sense all.
My movements more fluid, stealthily I crawl.
I can feel the air becoming colder,
Feel my breath on you shoulder?
You can’t see me, don’t even try,
For when seen to the shadows I fly.
I do not fear the shadow; the dark is my friend,
And someday deep in the black of night I’ll meet my end.
I can disappear without a trace,
Fir the darkness I embrace. |

“Maybe you have a small head.”

“Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!" We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!”
<President Thomas Whitmore- Independence Day>
“Welcome to Earth!” <Captain Steven Hiller- Independence Day>
"Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up."

“Tristan, how do you do that?” “I aim for the middle.”

"To die would be a great adventure." (Hook: Perter Pan)
Amazing. A line like that carries so mch meaning, esp in the Christian society. Think about it, we have something to look forward to in Heaven. Heaven is the next great adventure.
There are other movie lines that have meaning like this. "With Great Power comes great responsibility" "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pickourselves back up." Ther are even wisdom in lines from movies like 'The Lord of the Rings'. "Chronicles of Narnia', and 'King Arthur'. If you ask me, I think our media has something. I don't think they know what they have, but I think they have something. |
