URGENT PRAYER!!! (as in pray NOW!)
| OK, so a really good friend of mine and my friend Lexy has been going through some really hard times. She has been borderline suicidal for a long time and sees herself as just a pain in the neck to me and Lexy for bothering us with her troubles. I got an E-mail from her today tellinng me goodbye and she was sorry for being so much trouble and sorrow.
Please pray she will find the strength to live and keep living. Also that she will see how much she is cared about and loved by family and friends. |

Praying here
| I'm praying for your friend and for you that God will give you wisdom and guide you in helping this friend. Please tell her that suicide doesn't solve any problems and tell her that she is loved by God & is wonderfully made by Him! Please notify her parents (if you haven't yet) so that they will be aware of her troubles and will be able to help her immediately. |

You did it, Joshua. You talked her out of it.
I talked to her as much as i could before i left... and the whole time i was at that "party" i was praying.
God Helped you find the words to make her cry and you talked her out of it.

I basically collapsed in tears of joy when i read the PM she sent me last night. i got on as soon as i got home and i just fell over crying.
She's okay! She didnt go through with it! You're so much better of a friend to her than i am, Josh. i couldn't do anything for her. i talked to her for 3 hours before i left yesterday, and when we hung up, she still sounded like she was gonna go through with it.
But then you come along with all your perfect words and ability to talk people into/out of stuff. in all your shining glory, you saved our best friend.
(sorry, im being SO overly-dramatic right now, but i just had to say this.)

Josh, a lot of girls read your blog.... what do you mean no one likes you? xP silly.
well, keep giving updates on "our friend"
whenever you talk to her.
she's not doing to well.
she IS going to see I Know Who Killed Me with her brother though, just because she can. im jealous. she said she's giving me her ticket stub cuz i love LL so much. xP
i made her laugh a little, but she's still really depressed. |
