Hurricane Help in Virginia Beach...ARE YOU CLOSE???

Hi Cindy,

    I just wanted to let you know what was happening our corner of the world:

    I am the contact person for the Peninsula area.  We did a collection in Virginia Beach (Southside Peninsula) yesterday, and will open up our church doors tomorrw and Tuesday to collect more.  The owner of the local homeschool store (http://www.mooreexpressions.com/) will be driving the truck down to MS on Wed or Thur.

    Please let me know of any immediate needs other than the following which were on the fliers that we passed out this morning at church:
 
Hurricane Relief Items Requested (please give new items only):

Non-perishable foods
Sunscreen
Insect Repellant
Liquid baby formula
Water
Baby wipes
Personal toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush,
toothpaste, soap, hand sanitizer, hairbrush, etc)
Pet food
Feminine Hygiene Products
Towels, blankets, pillows

Please DO NOT send clothing or used items
Red items are priority needs

Drop off at the Gathering Place
Monday, Sep 5
between 12p-3pm
OR anytime Tuesday
