DIFFERENT Graduation Ideas for Making Graduation FUN!

Yep! I am brainstorming! We are getting everything ready for a celebration for Matthew! Here are some things that we are doing that are a bit DIFFERENT, but absolutely exciting! SHhhhhh...don't tell him! 
 GRADUATION JOURNAL...Harold, Elisabeth, and I are preparing a journal just for Matthew. It is a very personal journal filled with entries by each of us FOR HIM! Included are well-wishes...entries reminiscing through the years...Bible verses to inspire him...etc. VERY special! I think this one will get him teary!
GRADUATION DISPLAY BOARD... Yep! I knew that somewhere along the line, I would be able to get him BACK for all of those tears in Math! hehe! NOT! Actually, this is turning out adorable! I will take a picture and post it very soon. Our MATTHEW board features pictures and neat stuff through the years! I LOVE IT! Plus, what is more fun that Scrapbooking a HUGE DISPLAY BOARD?
GRADUATION CELEBRATION AT CHURCH... I have very little to do with this one. But, our church is planning a wonderful day JUST FOR SENIORS and their families. I will write about the details (some are a surprise for ME!) after we have our Sr. Day at church. But! Just from what I know (in case you are planning right now!), we are turning in pictures of them through the years (yep! that pic with his diaper on the head is game!!!)...he is writing his "Last Will and Testament" to the youth group...and we are preparing for a nice breakfast and lunch for the families! Can't wait! More on that one later!
GRADUATION! We have joined in the CSTHEA in Chattanooga for Matthew's graduation, so I do not have to THINK during that mushy event! I just did not think I could handle organizing AND crying all day! Sooo, we are excited to be a part of that graduation ceremony. Matthew is slated to address his senior class with a speech--"A CHALLENGE TO MY SENIOR CLASS" (simply AWESOME!). We will have our DISPLAY BOARD and all of the goodies! I am planning a poolside time with grandparents and any of YOU who come for graduation. DO let me know if you can come and I can give details!
GRADUATION PARTY AT THE POOL! Yep! We have a wonderful party planned locally in honor of Matthew. The week after graduation, we have a retreat planned in our area. Since we have access to all of the facilities at church and at the hotel, we are planning to continue celebrating through that weekend. PLUS! All of those that cannot make it to Chattanooga can celebrate with us over pizza, cokes, fun desserts, and lots of laughter!
Fired up? Well, more ideas as we inch closer to graduation!
