More Changes
Well, I worked through my Managers of Their Homes book the other week. I planned our schedules and felt we were ready. I've been buying and selling on Ebay and have everything I need to get started, except for math. I was excited to be home schooling from home this year. I was only planning on teaching piano 2 afternoons a week.
My husband is in limbo waiting to start his new job, they said they would call in 4-6 weeks. All of my music students took the month of August off so our income is very low this month. I had 2 job interviews lined up this week (though I really didn't want either job), one was tutoring and one was retail. Then Sunday morning our pastor announced that our church secretary was resigning so she could got back to school and get her Masters degree. Hmmmmm.
Monday I approached the Pastor about hiring me part time (4 hours a day). I have worked in the office on and off for the past 7 years so this was a good fit for me. Tuesday I got an e-mail with an offer and I accepted. So,,, now our schedule is changing...again. We won't be home much. I'm really praying for a laptop so my boys can do their math and science while we are at church.
God provided a job that is open to my homeschooling, I chose my hours and I am being paid what I asked for. God is so great. This job will be a blessing financially to both my family and the church.
Thank you, Jesus!!

How wonderful!

I love the flexibility of homeschooling. I'm so glad that God opened the doors for you to find a job that you can work into your schedule and take your children along with you. This will be my first year of combining a work-at-home job with our homeschooling and I'm sure it will make for some interesting days. Sometimes frustrating, too, I'm sure; but a blessing, nonetheless.

I am so glad that God had provided you the opportunity to work, and homeschool at the same time. May the Lord keep you healthy through out this school year.
Katherine is excited about the muscial acting class. Because of your financial curcumstances, you could have easily raised the price. However, you didn't. Thank you for serving us.
In Him,
