The kids just got new walker puppies...one for each of them!! They plan to train them to be 'coon dogs.

Thomas picked the runt of the younger litter (we had first pick of two litters, 6 and 7 weeks old).

Here is Thomas with Little Ann.

Here is Daniel with Old Dan (Old Dan and Little Ann were the redbone puppies in "Where the Red Fern Grows"

Here is Audrey with Dora (or maybe Ruby, she hasn't decided for sure yet).

Dora/Ruby has a crooked tail that looks broken.

And Kenny and Sammy (Mr. Bert's boy who is staying with us during the day this summer) have "Buck." Buck will probably go live at Sammy's house once they get moved back to a bigger place later this summer.
