Jun. 20, 2008 New Family Members
The kids just got new walker puppies...one for each of them!! They plan to train them to be 'coon dogs.
Thomas picked the runt of the younger litter (we had first pick of two litters, 6 and 7 weeks old).
Here is Thomas with Little Ann.
Here is Daniel with Old Dan (Old Dan and Little Ann were the redbone puppies in "Where the Red Fern Grows"
Here is Audrey with Dora (or maybe Ruby, she hasn't decided for sure yet).
Dora/Ruby has a crooked tail that looks broken.
And Kenny and Sammy (Mr. Bert's boy who is staying with us during the day this summer) have "Buck." Buck will probably go live at Sammy's house once they get moved back to a bigger place later this summer.

Jun. 12, 2008 Homemade Swimming Pool May. 8, 2008 Canoeing the Withlacoochee
We bought a canoe last week! We got someone to cover for us at church Wednesday night and Sunday, we loaded up the camper and went to Hog Island Campground Wednesday through Monday. We canoed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We caught fish! We had a blast!

Apr. 18, 2008 No Training Wheels
While I was on the phone earlier today, Audrey came and asked me something (she's always doing that). I vaguely heard her and answered ok. A few minutes later she comes in very excitedly telling us that Daniel took her training wheels off (I apparently approved of this) and she could ride her bike. Kenny and I walked out on the front porch to watch our 4 year old daughter (she just turned 4 thirteen days ago!) riding her bike with no training wheels. I'm not talking about just riding a few feet and falling...I mean she's RIDING her bike! Tight turns, standing up to gain speed, start and stop gracefully...she's RIDING her bike like a pro!

My cousin Tiffany blogged this, so I decided to, too. They're fun to do when you have time to waste - I mean, spare. If you do it, blog it or email it to your friends so they can learn some fun things about you - plus, they can have fun, too. Oh, and send me a copy, too!
1. Do you like blue cheese? Absolutely not!
2. Have you ever streaked? No, but once Tiffany and I mooned everyone in Georgia from the back of a moving vehicle!

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? I just don't go, then I can't get nervous...they make me too mad.

10. Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Once Ashley Smith and I did in their pool when we were kids.

12. Secret weapon to get the opposite sex? I've never had one. I just waited until Kenny told Amanda "I was cute" and that's all it took.

37. Worst injury you've ever had? I've never had broken bones or any serious injury, but the other day I bent my fingernail back REALLY far.
38. Do you love where you live? Yeah, the "compound" is a pretty good neighborhood
39. How many TVs do you have in your house? 3, but only for videos, we are now a "no TV" family. Technically the antenna is still hooked up, but we don't watch it.
