My Rattlesnake's Rattle
Posted in Photo Gallery
Here's a picture of the rattle my brother Mitch brought back for me a few years ago. He'd been up in the hills and stumbled across a large rattlesnake. He killed it, cut off the rattle, and gave it to me. I keep it in my Treasure Box. Don't you wish
you had one of these?
Here's the snake before Mitch killed it. Do you see that rattle?

Do I wish I had one? Are you kidding?! :-P Mom probably wouldn't want it in the house, though.

Um, I put them on each time I do a post. The other ones are on my side bar I mean the buttons are. On our big computer those graphics aren't coming up but when I put our laptop online the do come up. I also like seeing someones sewing blog and its the same on our big computer all the photos on her blog don't come up only on our laptop.

The snakes with rigid fangs bite and hold their prey until it dies. The snakes with hinged fangs, such as the rattlers, will strike, release the prey, and then look for the dead body. The Western Rattlesnake (Crotalus viridis ) – This snake species has been divided up into numerous subspecies and DNA analysis is showing that these may actually be separate species.

I love the idea of horses stomping on rattlesnakes! Glad that you found a way to incorporate rattlers in your book too.
