I didn't have time to update the last few weeks. I still don't actually, so I'll keep this short. We had our Easter break, which ended yesterday. I enjoyed the time spend with my family. Tomorrow evening we will have a gala Easter party with our student group. I'm really looking forward to it. Here are some pictures of my holidays.
Our little man was baptised in the Easter Vigil Service. It was beautiful!

We had a party on the following monday, and my sister made this great picture of my cousin Zoe

Two of my best friends came over to stay for a few days. We had so much fun, and they just loved Siem!
Cleo and Siem

Anneke, Siem and I

He loves his baths, and I love to bathe him!

He just keeps on laughing at us ...

... and has decided that his thumb is way better than his pacifier.

On a totally different matter, I would like to ask you for prayer. My sister fell down the stairs yesterday while she was carrying Siem. Luckily, my sister protected him with her arms. She has some problems with her arm because of the fall, but Siem seems to be ok. We're still worried about him though, so could you please pray for him. Thanks!
I know this was a short update, but I promise I'll post more soon. I have a few ideas that I want to write about, just have to make the time to put it on the computer.

I decided to tell you something about myself, because I love reading introductions, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.
Currently I'm living alone in a house my stepfather bought recently. The rest of the family will join me here in a few weeks. I have one younger sister, who's finishing highschool this year, and one older sister. She's getting married in august, and has been living on her own for a couple of years allready. Last week I -accidently- found out my mother is pregnant. She's only one month far, so she didn't want us to know it yet. But I found out, and it made me so happy! My younger sister is only three years younger, so I never really experienced my mother being pregnant before. I just hope everything goes well, and I'll have another brother or sister in february.
My parents got divorced a few years ago and both remarried shortly after, so I have a big, big "family" now. I have three stepsisters and two stepbrothers. I'm also aunt to six "stepcousins". I love it! I hope to have a big family of my own one day, and homeschool my children.
One of the reasons I would like to homeschool is my own school experience. I never really fitted in at school. I skipped a class, but that didn't help much. I failed my first year at high school due to bullying and just not knowing how to study. My mother tried to homeschool me, but gave up after a week. I went back to high school, this time with medicines. I graduated six years later (in Belgium, we have 6 years primary school, 6 years highschool), but never really enjoyed myself. I can't really say I learned a lot either. Yes, I understand loads of languages, and speak a few, do math on a high level, and whatever teachers consider valuable. But I learned more about the world, myself, God and life in general during the one year I went abroad, than I did in those 15 years at school!
Some pictures, telling a lot about me:

With a few of the other exchange students in Greece (we were in Hungary for a year, but took a trip to Greece in the spring). Left to right: Alyssa (Australia), Tinna (Iceland), Kiwi (New-Zealand, he was called David actually), Bill (California), and I! I just loved hanging around with this guys. The whole exchange year was a wonderfull experience. My biggest passion is ancient history, so that's why I chose this picture.

My sisters and future brother in law. I'm between him and my younger sister.

The youngest son of my stepsister, and yeah, that's my back.
