Nov. 28, 2005 - Issues
I realized today there isnt a woman I know that is not going through a trial right now. Whether big or small, happy or sad, I cant name one woman who doesnt have some issue. What is interesting to me is how each woman handles herself. Some rejoice in trials, some weep, some fall apart, some grow stronger. Some women are cheerful when things are going well, while some worry that something bad is about to happen. We are all SO different!
For me, Id like to be the happy woman who rejoices in all things big and small, good and bad. Id like to be thankful to my Creator for everything I have, for everything I do, for every trial and every blessing. My prayer is that I can grow closer to Him in the difficult times by listening and learning and obeying. I pray, too, that I can grow closer to Him in times of blessing always ready to sit quietly and listen.

You said that so beautifully. I am glad that you're going to pick up your journal again. It really doesn't matter about the passage of time does it. It took me five years to fill up my first journal. I can't even believe that was true.Now I go through one in about a year. I just don't worry about it.
