A goodnight for sleep refusers
Routines for us change as the children grow...What works for weeks may suddenly stop working and then nessessity mode kickes in. It's not always fun, because I feel like I'm muttling through until I get a breakthrough. My two boys age 10 and 6 seem to hate going to bed. So they always get rather silly. So I started separting them alternately. Each gets a turn to stand up in my room and wait for the other to fall asleep. It works. if one doesn't fall asleep in a reasonable amount of time they switch. Well it's turned out that. My 6 yr. old son misses me reading to them about "God". So tonight as soon as my nursing baby went to sleep we read and read...He listened to the kjv of psalm intently and a song(words below). In turn my 3 yr. old went to sleep as we read. Now thats a great way to help get a good night sleep with the word of God. The words to... "The Lord is my light" The Lord is my light and my salvation. The Lord is my light and my salvation. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. Whom shall I fear Whom shal I fear. The Lord is the Light of my life. Whom shall I fear. In the time of trouble He shall hide me In the time of trouble He shall hide me In the time of trouble He shall hide me, He shall strengthen my heart. Whom shall I fear Whom shal I fear. The Lord is the Strength of my life. Whom shall I fear.
