Under a Shaddy tree, you and me
So much, I want to be in my own house with my own garden. I feel like a wanna be gardener! I keep trying to grow things with the children and they die. Well this time I found some terra catta? (sp) We'll do some starter plants, beans and some of our favorite herbs. YesterdayI thought about having color sections to my garden. Yellow and green where the Corn, greens and other veggies will be and the Yellowish orange sections for my Sunflowers. A rainbow theme since I love rainbows. I will work on the complete design of the garden with my dd. I did want to plant a fruit tree but I think I some other kind of shaddy tree out and away from the house will be on our level of stewardship! Plus less bees. Keeping my mind on what I do want and off of what I don't is challenging. I woke up with the picture above in my mind. I know my children will be wonderful gardeners. Especially my three yr. old who loves to have something to do with his hands. will find the right spot and turn over dirt, pick out rocks. hmmm he'll need some lil' gloves I guess. I can just see him jumping around out in the yard...with our own dog. Yesterday I realized I always take the other children on errands and I felt really bad leaving him. In the PMA book it talked about getting rid of guilt by doing something good about it. So off we went. I was determinded to keep a PMA...even My dd was too. I learned plenty about him and was reminded why I don't usually take them out when they're young. Easily distracted and so hands on...fear of loosing them, while I'm thinking of what I'm out for. He skipped and jumped, Little legs need a lot of consideration when going walking. Even if they are the best jumper in the house! It was fun. Plus The Lord blessed us to make it safely through the busy bumpy streets! Patience is my new best friend~~~ Ro 15:4 - Show Context For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Heb 10:36 - Show Context For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Jas 1:4 - Show Context But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
